"We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this property in Hinton.The surrounding neighborhood was older, but interesting. If you bring a dog and take it walking, beware that there are some big menacing dogs behind some inadequate fencing in the area (not talking about the ones right across the street).We stayed in an upstairs unit. "This property is very close to the street and is VERY noisy. It is located next to one of the “main” roads and there is constant loud noise of cars and trucks. I specifically asked about this before booking and they said that noise would not be an issue. My main issue with this property is that they didn’t answer me accurately. On our first night, there was an issue with the septic tank, leaving the small house smelling unbearably bad. To their credit, we were given a full and immediate refund...

"We loved Four Fillies! The property was kept up very well and was so beautiful. I loved the sound of the creek. We travelled back and forth from Blacksburg which was a bit of a trek (45 minutes) but was a fairly easy drive. it was so worth it!"

"I was not made aware that the creek was closed due to drought. I was not made aware that there was a fee to fish in that creek even before it was declared closed due to drought. The trout farm was also closed which i was not made aware of. I would not have added a day to my reservation had I known this. The cabin could use a bigger fridge and softer mattresses but otherwise good. Someone should have made us aware of the stream closure before i added a night but they didnt."
