"DO NOT BOOK YOUR STAY ON HOTELS.COM. They will not have your reservation when you show up. Luckily the host is very accommodating and found room for me (I had to stay one night at the next door resort though). Overall, this is a very social, friendly, active resort. If you’re looking for a fancy hotel with hot water this is not the place for you. But there was so much to do (diving, snorkeling, fishing, hiking). Met great people and had great food. "We have left a piece of our heart at Naqalia Lodge and at the Yasawa Island. The staff and Management at Naqalia went above and beyond to make our stay nothing short of amazing and they were always smiling and happy to help. "I would give this resort 10 stars if I could! The resort is gorgeous. I loved the staff, everything was clean, the food was delicious, the drinks (coffee and cocktails) were excellent, and the pool was cool and relaxing. The best part of this property is the reef for snorkeling and the spa. The spa was so nice we went twice for body wraps, massage, and facials. I love, love, love this resort!"

"This resort mostly caters to the under 35 group. We had a bungalow in a quiet area away from the dorms, right on the beach. You could snorkel from your room or take a short boat trip to snorkel other areas and see manta rays. Meals are in addition to the room cost-set fee per person per day. The food was really good and the chef made us an anniversary cake that was divine. "

"Nice stay in Yasawa islands! If you are addicted to snorkelling and you want to relax giving up some unnecessary luxury comfort, this place is perfect for you! Nice bungalows close to beautiful private beach, few guests, perfect privacy! Hand-made food is good and filtered water is available, no need of bottled water. The beach is very nice and accessible also when tide is low thanks to a small concrete underwater bridge. "
