"Very spacious room with a terrace and good facilities. Newly renovated so everything was clean and sparkling. Beach across the road, a couple of tavernas nearby. Owner very helpful, he picked me up from the ferry and took me back to the port at the end of my stay. A great place."

"Great stay at the Windmill. The location is picturesque and overlooks the entire port. For those where views are king, this is the place for you. The service was amazing and check in was very easy. The host was knowledgeable and gave me some great recommendations as to where to go. Upon entering the room, it was very modern but had some stains on the sheets from previous stays and some hair on the floor. Not a huge deal breaker but attention to detail is very important. "Excellent location close to beach and next to good restaurants and coffee places. The historic house is renovated well and the chairs outside are in excellent state. Cleaning is done every day. We enjoyed breakfast at Echinousa and Raventi. We loved the island Kimolos very much. We got around well with the bus. Walking to Chora only takes 10min. There is even a great open air cinema on different places approx 2x week. We enjoyed watching the movies very much. "

"I am usually travelling without too high expectations as you almost for sure will be disappointed. The more I really was positively surprise about the friendliness, the warmth and attitude from the staff. You feel that the owner family, especially the woman of the family, have set their goals high to exceed expectations and make the stay as convenient and pleasant as possible. "The lady who checks you in and runs the place is a saint. She took care of me during a difficult time. She made sure I was safe, helped me book a ferry and taxi to get back to Athens to go home due to a medical and personal emergency. She even made sure I ate and had water. The property is beautiful, right by the water and you can’t ask for a kinder host! Even comes with a bottle of wine. "
