"Pictures of the property don't do justice to this place. We stayed in Cabin 1 and it is beautiful! The cabin has a deck all around with an outdoor dining area, gas grill and private sauna. The main living area has the living room and kitchen and it is beautiful, full of windows up to the ceiling and very spacious. There is also a loft with a futon bed and its own TV. When we turned off the highway, on to the dirt track and it said 12km to go, we knew we were in for something special. The...

"This house was absolutely gorgeous. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The kitchen had everything we needed and the sitting area had spectacular views. We didn’t want to leave!"

"The place was relly nice! We got a clear view of the northern lights overhead which was amazing! The view of the horizon was slightly obstructed. But It was definitely secluded and out of the way. Only 4 stars because the highway lights shined almost directly into our window. The cottage was very hot. (Underfloor heating) with no way to turn off. And water had sulfur smell from the source (no fault of theirs), but it was off putting. "

"The cottage was accurately described. It's in a beautiful location with amazing views. Conveniently located to get a head start on a drive around the Snaefellsness peninsula. The hosts are friendly. Communication was easy. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The guesthouse was extremely accessible, easy to access with zero contact, and a great size to stay the night and make meals. The location was quiet at night. Some crucial downfalls for us were that the small bathroom window, which has the shower directly next to it, had no covering on it and looked out to where people parked and another guesthouse was. "This property is really nice. The location is great for exploring Snaefelsness Peninsula. Borgarnes is the nearest town and has a few nice restaurants, a museum, and a walkable community. The home itself was clean with comfortable beds. Check in/out was easy. There is a gate going in that is worked by calling a number. The home has a lockbox and security system, though the area felt very rural and secure. "

"We loved our stay at this cottage in Iceland. It was a perfect spot for our exploring to Snæfellsnes. The cottage was wonderfully equipped with everything we needed and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. We settled right in. My teenager loved the loft and having the cool windows. Iceland is a long way from home for us but we would come back in a heartbeat."

"The property was so well appointed, clean, and comfortable. We had great space with bedrooms and bathrooms and the deck with the hot tub. We had everything we needed and the comfort and quality level was very well done. Thanks to the hosts. "

"We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here"

"The cabin lives up to its name as it is very cozy and the views are spectacular. We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. "
