"Everything was clean, new, and well looked after. The location was great, and I appreciated the coffee bar and ample sitting areas."

"What a disappointment booked 2 rooms- I would have left the property but had elderly parents and we traveled all day and were exhausted. Rooms smelled musty and cigarette. Hole in sheet, blood on comforter, hair in bathroom. Parents sink wouldn’t drain- had to take cold showers water would not regulate- oh my heard traffic the whole time we were there along with noisy hallways-such a disappointment cause it was ideal to who we were visiting. There was no bathmat for the shower and no extra towels to use no extra blanket and only 3 small pillows. The WiFi password at check in and on the key case was incorrect. "This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink."

"Beautiful historic hotel. We had a great comfortable room. The staff we met Sarah and Glen were professional, very helpful and sweet people. The breakfast was very good. "The woman working the evening desk on 7/9/2026 was AMAZING. My flight was canceled and I showed up tired and grumpy. I also had minor surgery that day and was still dealing with lingering anesthesia grogginess, and she was kind to give me plenty of water so I could hydrate.
