"The room was exceedingly clean, remarkably so. That was good. However there was such a strong air freshener / cleaning product smell that it was hard to breathe and I had to take allergy meds. This makes me not want to stay here again, despite the impressive cleanliness. The windows did open, but only one stayed open on its own. "No towels in the room when we arrived. Rooms are loud and you can hear everything from people next door, upstairs or in the hall. The street traffic was weirdly load too (7th floor). Breakfast wasn't bad and the beds were good."

"THIS HOTEL IS HORRIBLE. There was ants everywhere, like infested, super dirty and even the fridge was infested. Even the phone to call was infested. Then we switched rooms and it still had ants in fact I had an ant crawl on me and that is disgusting. Shower was dirty, fridge was dirty, even the ice bucket was dirty. And the bed quite frankly had Brown stains on it, both of them. We literally had to clean the place our self just for it to still be dirty!! If I wanted a dirty room and ant infested...

"The Inn and the innkeepers were lovely. The decor is quirky and elegant at the same time. Every convince is thought of. The fireplace in every room is a fabulous touch. We can’t wait to visit again soon"

"My daughter and I stayed at Residence Inn while attending the Cardi B concert (4/3/2026) The room (a loft) was more like a small, cute apartment! We loved it! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The best part, the breakfast! They had an awesome selection of breakfast foods, fresh fruit and beverages. If I’m ever in Hartford again, I would 100% stay here again. "

"We leave the room on Sunday, expecting to have clean towels and clean room. That was not the case, we have to go and get clean towels, no fresh water. The mattresses must be more than 10 years old, the pillow horrible. I can’t imagine how did you give this place “excellent “ reviews. We use this hotel many years ago, nothing to do with the states of the beds this time around."
