"I’m not a B&B guy but we were on a 5500 mile motorcycle trip and wanted a two night rest stay in this area. Pictures of the Green Room looked perfect for a rest and there was no disappointment. "This hotel is close to the North Rim of Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. The South Rim is the more frequented rim and is also where the Visitor Center is located. It will take about 1:45 minutes to drive to the South Rim from this hotel. The owner Cherri was very friendly and a delight to talk to. All the rooms are non-smoking rooms. The information on Expedia isn't clear this. There are chairs and tables outside for people to smoke if they wish to."

"This property was a classic property in Paonia. We had a very pleasant stay with a delicious home-cooked breakfast. It’s in a central area of Paonia which made it convenient to walk around. We would definitely return. The only disadvantage I could see is it is not an accessible property from what I noticed. Otherwise definitely a good choice."

"The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help us! Free soda and water when we asked where we could buy some. We asked if the breakfast would be available the next morning before the usual 6 am, because we had to meet our fishing guides at 6:00, and the told us they would make up some sack breakfasts for us to go! In the morning they opened early AND still gave us sacks of fruit, yogurt, muffins and juice! Service with a smile is still the norm in Montrose, CO."
