Recently renovated 2 bedroom annexe with open plan living room and kitchen.

  • Ubicado en el histórico pueblo de Stoney Middleton, Inglaterra, Reino Unido, el Anexo es un anexo de 2 dormitorios recientemente renovado con sala de estar y cocina de planta abierta, baño de arriba y cuarto de baño y aseo de abajo. El apartamento tiene capacidad para cuatro personas cómodamente (hay persianas opacas en cada habitación) y tiene su propia entrada. En el exterior hay un patio con mesa y asientos para 4 más una fogata y una barbacoa. Estamos a menos de 5 minutos a pie del centro del pueblo y también a cinco minutos a pie de campo abierto. Hay un sendero hacia el centro del pueblo que corre paralelo a la carretera de nuestro lado y sale en el aparcamiento del Moon Inn. En el centro del pueblo hay una iglesia, el Moon Inn, que sirve comida, una casa de curry, una tienda de pescado y papas fritas y dos carniceros. Un mini mercado Spar, dos cafés y otros dos pubs están en Calver, que se encuentra a menos de cinco minutos en automóvil o a 10 minutos a pie. Para los escaladores, las famosas zonas de escalada tradicional y deportiva de Stoney y para los espeleólogos, el sistema Carlswark están a 15 minutos a pie. La zona también es popular entre los ciclistas de montaña. Stoney Middleton es una base ideal para explorar el norte de Derbyshire, con Chatsworth House, Hassop Hall, Castleton, el histórico pueblo de plagas de Eyam y Bakewell, todo a 20 minutos en coche. Es un hermoso país para caminar, ya que se encuentra cerca del límite entre la piedra caliza y la piedra arenisca, por lo que puede elegir entre los valles de piedra caliza (con sus flores silvestres y fósiles) o los páramos y bordes de piedra arenisca (impresionantes vistas y vida silvestre, incluyendo ciervos). También hay una zona de juegos para niños bien equipada a menos de cinco minutos a pie por el sendero hacia Calver en la parte superior del campo de fútbol. Lovely place to stay. We were there for a festival so the facilities were just perfect. Nice secluded garden for breakfast in the early morning sun. Comfy beds and great shower. Just what was needed after a long hot day in the sun. Communication with the hosts and directions were first class.

The property we stayed in was cosy and warm. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need. Bathroom/ shower lovely and clean. Beds were very comfy could not ask for more.

A fantastic break

We had a lovely stay in this cosy property. A perfect base for exploring this part of Derbyshire. We really enjoyed the local pub and curry house and will be back again soon.

Spot On

A lovely annexe, well equipped and comfortable with a good outdoor patio area for a bbq. Would highly recommend as hosts easily contactable and on hand, yet felt a lovely private cottage setting.

Excellent property and location

The annex was exactly as described and has everything needed for a small party. Ideally located for Curbar and local walks, pubs and the cafe. Lovely views to the back.

We were so fortunate to come across The Annexe. It is in a lovely location and in immaculate condition with all the requirements needed for a comfortable and welcoming stay. From the moment we booked until we left, communication was very smooth. It is in close walking distance of a local Spar shop and local pubs. We did enjoy The Moon with a great beer garden. Some lovely local walls ìncluding a 2 mile walk to Eyam where we enjoyed a visit to the 'Plague Museum'. Also worth doing the local circular walk up the steepest High Street in Britain in Stoney Middleton with great views. Thank you.

Very positive impression of a very well constructred and decorated annex to an existing older house. We only stayed two nights,but all four of us slept comfortably, made our own breakfasts in the Annex, and it lived up to our expectations. Well equipped and with lovely views out the bedroom windows. Located only a short walk to a friendly local pub. Free parking. Wifi worked well.

What a lovely property, perfect location right in the heart of the best walking country and beautifully positioned - less than a 10 minute walk between 3 gorgeous pubs. It’s a traditional building and has been refurbished very tastefully. Plenty of hot water, powerful shower, new kitchen and bathroom. The owners sent us all of the information we needed to make our arrival smooth and whole stay a pleasure. Highly recommend.

Property Fab!

Everything at the property was clean, great quality and well thought out. The position was brilliant too, we went out everyday but never traveling more than 20mins to take in amazing scenery!

The aparment is well-furnished, spotlessly cleaned, maintained and equipped well, and was indeed recently renovated. It is easy to access, and you have everything you may possible need, including plenty of books, maps and guidance from the owners. Thank you!

Cosy little retreat

Ideally situated to local amenities and walks. Lovely little house, perfect for those weekends of just getting away from everything. Everything you could require for a relaxing break, fully equipped kitchen, with a great selection of books and board games. Amazing communication, with the owner from moment of booking down to information pack within the house,

Beautiful location!

This place is so cute! We had a lovely time in the nearby sights and in the evening it was very nice to come back, put our feet up, and enjoy the Annex. They had everything we needed, it was very clean, and the beds very comfortable. The owner/manager was very helpful, we wanted to go on a hike and he was able to give us a great recommendation!

All that you wish for

Dit huis is alles wat je wenst. Groot huis, mooi ingericht, tuin, alle benodigdheden aanwezig, prachtige omgeving en een aardige verhuurder. Goede uitvalsbasis. Bezienswaardigheden binnen een uur reizen aanwezig.
