The Grange accommodation is either a car drive or a 5-minute hike from Warbrook House itself. So, if it's raining, it's a wet trudge. Apart from that, good food in the restaurant

Room was okay. They put us out in the Grange even when that was not made clear in the booking and it did not seem that the main building was full. Rooms were decent but bathrooms especially need upkeep - missing tiles, tight handles for spout etc. Breakfast was better than expected had vegan butter / soy milk. Limited staff so not easy to get help etc. They had golf carts that should have been able to take people (especially old people in the cold) from one end to the other end of the property but no body around to drive them.

I stayed in Grange 2 and had a single room. It was clean very basic but had everything you would expect. Breakfast was lovely cooked fresh

Very run-down and dated room that clearly hasn’t been refurbished in years. The room was also full of spiders and flies, which made the stay particularly unpleasant.

Power failure, from 9.50pm through to 8.01am the following morning, not water supply therefore, toilet didn’t flush!! Lovely staff in general but absolutely NO communication as to why we were in the dark for 10 hours

Good value and a clean room with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. Chose to stay here after a long late flight back to Heathrow and its proximity to the M4. Took all the stress out of a long drive home

Booked this last minute and was so impressed! We were put in the grange and was very pleased, though parking was a bit of a pain. Well equipped room, very comfy bed, incredible shower. Also had breakfast, we were very pleased. Will stay again!

No doubt the hotel is in a good location and good amount of land around it, but unfortunately the hotel needs upgrading from top to the bottom, the rooms reminded me back in 1980s and 90s and the hotel it's self is not the cleanest. The hotel staff was trying to get into the room with the master key without even knowing that someone might be staying in the rooms.

Beautiful settings and clean well kept rooms. Staff were excellent. The Grange was a little walk from the main hotel. Breakfast included was a standard ok, could have had more of a selection, but the evening dinner was fantastic. Will be returning to stay at the main hotel next time

Upon arrival at reception, it was busy because the hotel was hosting a wedding. Our room was ok, very dated, bathroom was tatty & needed updating. Not quite the luxury heritage hotel I was expecting for my partners birthday.

This hotel looks great on the website but does not live up to expectations. It is extremely tired and dirty. My room was disappointing - dirty carpet, hair balls on the floor, mud and detritus and even nail clippings from a previous guest. It clearly had not been properly cleaned. The Roman blind was broken and held up by safety pins. The carpets were threadbare in places and in the morning I discovered carpet moths crawling under the desk. Dirty marks on the wall by the bed and the wardrobe was dusty inside. The communal areas are also very dirty - the carpets are heavily stained throughout and there were dead insects over the floors indicating a wasp or bee infestation. When I raised my complaint, staff were initially helpful but I decided to check out a day early given the overall state of the hotel. At that point I was fobbed off my staff. I have been offered a 50% refund but given my experience I do not consider this is acceptable.

Very disappointing experience. When we arrived and entered our room, we discovered there was no toilet roll in the bathroom. I called reception to ask for some, only to be told that they were too busy to help and that we would have to walk back to reception ourselves — which was approximately a quarter of a mile away. Rather than apologising or offering to resolve such a basic issue, the member of staff actually argued with me over the phone. I found their attitude extremely unhelpful, rude and completely unacceptable. Having toilet roll in a hotel bathroom is a basic expectation, and guests should not have to walk a quarter of a mile to reception to collect it, especially when the problem is the hotel's own oversight. Very poor customer service and certainly not the welcome or experience we expected.
