"Excellent little getaway spot! The cabin is adorable, well-decorated, and well stocked with offline activities. The little AC unit really puts in work and we were never sweaty. The location does a great job of placing you in a perfect viewing location for birds, turtles, and butterflies. We were able to walk over to the winery fairly easily."

"I stayed at the Blue Heron with my 2 kids (2 and 10) and my large dog. The fenced in large yard was absolutely wonderful to have everyone outside when at the house. I loved the lot - so much space on 3 of the sides without being right on top of another house! The bay view off the side of the house really topped it off! The house was incredibly clean inside. As an unexpected surprise, there’s an auto ice maker in the freezer, saving me from having to make a trip to a store with the kids for...

"It was a mini high school reunion with friends we’ve know for over 50 years. Everything was wonderful and we loved your house. You had all the gadgets we needed to make our stay pleasurable. The beds were super comfortable and the decor was adorable. The only thing that we missed were phone chargers. Done of us forgot themAnd we were surprised your electrical outlets did not have them. "

"We adored this pet-friendly cottage that is right on the water of the Potomac. It is very nicely decorated, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the internet was fast and the TVs were all smart TVs with plenty of streaming options. The island was very peaceful and quiet and the cottage is conveniently located within a reasonable walk of the marina, restaurant and store. "The house is very eclectic. We really enjoyed looking at all of the art and antiques that are displayed. The host was amazing and very helpful. We had a wonderful time. The only caveat is that I would not recommend for toddlers. There is numerous items within their reach that could be damaged. It is packed with things for older children,and our granddaughter had a great time. Thanks to Tammy for making our stay amazing. Would definitely come back "
