5 Star vacation experience in luxury home in Homosassa! This clean and spacious four bedroom, three bathroom house (3,100 square feet) is located directly on the Homosassa river, offers beautiful views, and is the perfect destination for families that are seeking a fun but upscale vacation experience. The cleaning services strictly follow CDC guidelines. The new owners have completely renovated this gorgeous home and hope that it will provide its guests a very comfortable and relaxing vacation while offering the very best that Homosassa has to offer. Guests can use the owners' three kayaks and paddle board to journey through the Homosassa River and visit Monkey Island, Crumps, the Freezer (which are all within 1/3 mile) and many other jewels of Homosassa.

Fantastic Stay!

We had a wonderful stay. We visited with 3 kids (ages 9-14) and a mother-in-law (age redacted). There was plenty of room for everyone. The house was in great shape and beautifully situated. We had fun kayaking and playing games on the screened-in porch at sunset at the house, plus eating at great local restaurants, visiting the state parks, fishing, and hiking - all of which were very close by (less than a 5-minute drive). Can’t say enough good things about the house, the hosts, the stay, or the area. Hidden gem of Florida; should not be missed!

Perfect Lovation

We enjoyed the amenities of this property and the location. Disappointed with the cleanliness (carpets were filthy) (pillows that had zip covers were stained) and the unkept lawn. Trim dirty and around toilet base. Paint coming off kitchen cabinets. Laminate flooring raisedn in the laundry room. Dishwasher works, but is falling apart and needs to be updated with other appliances. Also, the microwave. Tile is slip hazard in bathroom downstairs if wet. Property has some upgrades, just a lot of work to still be done and definitely needs to be repainted.and pressure washed. Front doors entrance unwelcoming. Cute decor, VRBO pics are deceiving. For some may be just fine. We still had a great stay. We will be back to Homosassa this spring. Would have been nice to just rebook this rental, but not so lucky.

This house had everything we needed for six adults to spend a fun and comfortable week on Florida's Nature Coast. It was very clean: had a fully equipped kitchen, linens, towels, comfortable seating inside, chairs for the fire pit, etc. Everything we needed! The upstairs screened in deck was especially nice to have and had a terrific view right on the Homossa River. The location is great for exploring this part of Florida and has quick access both north and south to other rivers and parks. Several restaurants nearby made eating out fun and convenient. The manager, Kimberly, could have not been more helpful. She was easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions quickly and completely. She was terrific! If we're back in this area we would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 10 really enjoyed staying in this beautiful home! We saw manatees and dolphins right off the dock. Kayaks and paddleboards were a plus ! Would definitely stay here again !!

Perfect location

This house was in the perfect location for our scalloping trip. Quick walk to Crumps and we loved sitting upstairs watching all the boats drive by. Our young adult children enjoyed the downstairs game room area and spent most of their time down there. Best of all, the dock fit both our 32' and 26' boats! Great place, we will be back next year. Word of warming though, after it rains the mosquitoes are horrible!

Wonderful getaway!

This place is just as described. Excellent location. Was nice to have a downstairs with games and pool table for the kids. This rental has a ton of water toys (kayaks, SUP, and a large water mat, noodles, tube to pull behind boat). They even had extra coolers and plenty of life jackets. You’ll find the kitchen well stocked with utensils, double oven, and decent amount of spices. Hosts were very responsive with communication. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again and will be recommending it to our friends. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

The morning view is incredible!

Rented the property to attend a wedding, the house was clean and comfortable and felt like we never wanted to leave! Sitting on the screened in porch and watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee was incredible. It was so nice to be able to use the kayaks! We saw a manatee, river otters and an Eagle! On the top of my most favorite vacations!! Fabulous rental!

Relaxing and Beautiful view

If you’re looking for a beautifully decorated and relaxing place to go, this is it! The screened in porch overlooking the water was amazing and the daybed was a huge hit. The sunrise was unbelievable. We saw manatees and dolphins right at the end of the dock- This is a huge fishing area. Dock has a fish cleaning station which was nice. Not much around the immediate neighborhood except Crumps (the tiki bar/restaurant) but it’s an easy walk and great atmosphere, and a quick kayak or boat ride across the river brings you to other bars/ restaurants and a fresh seafood mart. Check out the freezer. We went 3 or 4 times! The kids loved crumps where they could play corn hole on the little beach area. Publix grocery store/ liquor/ ice cream/ pizza etc about 3 miles down the road. Walmart a little further. Kayaks made exploring the area easy, but renting a boat for a few days is worth it to further explore. There’s plenty of room at the dock.. The hot tub was amazing but got stinky very quick despite rinsing first. A few days in we contacted the property manager and they sent someone right over to clean it. It got stinky again within the next day or two again so not sure what was going on. Lots of water floats to use, but many had holes. Best to stick with the water mat. Plenty of kayaking within 30 min - 3 sisters, 7 sisters, weeki wachi- the kids found a blow up obstacle course water adventure they loved- ( Lyft adventures I think) down toward Hernando beach . We also found a little local beach - Fort Island that was nice too. The adults and kids both had a great time

The property was lovely, We rented a boat and went out to the gulf and down to the springs. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub as well.

Beautiful home on the Homosassa River!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home on the Homosassa River! We spent most of our time sitting out by the river, on the screened in porch, or out by the fire pit. We kayaked, lounged in the hot tub, and went boating and fishing in the Gulf with friends and family who live in Homosassa. We had manatees and dolphins swimming right under our dock. We walked to Crumps for dinner and entertainment and also checked out Margarita Grill, The Freezer, The Monkey Bar, and The Shed. We also visited the Ellie Schiller State Park. We would love to stay here again the next time we visit!

Sunrise Paradise

Beautiful priceless waterfront view enjoyed throughout the house. This home is complete with so many great amenities. We enjoyed paddling out every morning. Kept the boat at the boat dock. Enjoyed fires overlooking the water and lazy afternoons on the outdoor swing bed. The hot tub and grilling porch had excellent views. Perfect location to enjoy the local restaurants and waterways. Guaranteed to see manatees at this time of year. Eric was very accommodating and easy to converse with. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing location, beautiful home, great toys to play with!

We had a perfect time with our three small grandchildren. We rented a pontoon from Homosassa Spring Marina and were able to park it at the dock for two days. In the late afternoons we would kayak with the owner’s equipment. We also used the owner’s paddle board at the springs with the manatees. The kids got to experience so many new things in a short time and we made special memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for opening your home!
