"This is a great place to stay. Right across the street from the beach, you can sit on the deck and watch the sunset while enjoying a drink, swim in the heated pool or sit by the outdoor fireplace. Just minutes up the street are lots of restaurants and shopping, all within just three or four blocks of the hotel. The staff are super friendly, and it is in a very quiet part of town. I am definitely going to stay here next time I am in Carlsbad!"

"We had a problem with the AC but were promptly handled. We were given fans on night two which helped tremendously. The next day while we were at Legoland it was fixed. The only problem was we were compensated for the night we had no AC. We also did not ask because our overall stay was amazing. Next time we stay there we will ask for a top room floor because the family had a bunch of kids running all three nights until midnight. "We loved our stay at the Seabird!! We are locals and were here one night for my husband's 50th birthday. They comped our parking for the occasion and gave us a free glass of champagne at check in - great start! They also decorated our room with a Happy Birthday sign, balloons, and other decor.
