"The annual Christmas market trip was to Munich this year. Now, hotels and taxis come very expensive in Munich, especially within the city centre, so we went with one of Munichs Holiday In Expresses, their large one located on the west side. Balanced with cost, this hotel is perfectly located next to Hirschgarten train station. Easily reached by the Sl or S8 metro from the city or airport. Check in was friendly and helpful. Room was basic but functional. Shower was great, bed comfy, safe and TV...

"Loved the room, and the service… but “Complimentary Breakfast” was only allowed for 1 guest of all 3 of us. This was not disclosed at check in. So getting a hefty bill (>$30) for 2 cups of coffee and a roll was very frustrating."

"The hotel is well located near an S-bahn station and a tram stop, making exploring central and suburban Munich super easy. The rooms are cleaned daily and have everything you need for a short stay. Great value for money! "

It was within walking distance to the Nymhenburg Palace (20 min walk?) and very close to train station/public transportation, several grocery stores and a restaurant called Zum Green Baum which we went twice! Was a recommendation from TJ staff. A cute continental breakfast available for extra charge."
