"The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. We would definitely stay...

"Everything with this rental was flawless! Great communication and message response time. It is a lovely and cozy rental. Loved the coffee and snack station. "This is a wonderful property with great location and proximity to Shenandoah National Park. The house is clean and well stocked with everything you need. Owner was great to communicate with and the property is lively. The only complaint I have is that at the end of the stay you are asked to drive the garbage over 10mins away in the opposite direction you would be leaving and this is the last thing you want to do at the end of a vacation, but for us it didn’t take away from the 5 star rating. "This home was a perfect choice for our sisters weekend! The host, Lisa, was excellent with communication; both before, during, and after our stay. This home was beautiful & clean inside, with all of the amenities of your own home! Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, stocked kitchen, furniture that just hugged you after a day of travel. Wish I could give more than 5 stars! Gorgeous horse farm with a relaxing, peaceful feel. "

"We had a great stay at the mansion! We loved all the amenities such as the fireplace in the backyard and the jacuzzi Play room and theater was amazing we loved the massaging chairs! Loved how they have a back up gas tank for the grill I remember when I went to another place we were going to grill but we couldn’t because they didn’t have a backup gas tank Found it very helpful! "

"Absolutely stunning house. When we arrived there was fresh flowers in most of the rooms as well as complimentary snickerdoodles. The owners thought about absolutely everything including Epsom salts for the clawfoot bathtub or makeup wipes and toothbrushes that one might forget when traveling. Highly recommend this historic home. "
