I went for a little birthday vacation, being from out of town I had a few ideas of what I could do but the front desk check in staff was super helpful as well and gave me a lot of ideas for fun things I could do! To me, this resort was the ideal place to stay if you want to get away and relax and take in the beautiful views!!!"

"Overall this is a great hotel. Super clean and the perfect location. However, the noise level in our room was intolerable. Do NIT stay in rom 203, if offered refuse it! The music from the restaurant directly below it starts around 5pm and didn’t stop until 10:40. The bass (thumping) was far from relaxing. I complained and was offered to change to a different room across the street. By then we were exhausted from being out in the 100 degree heat all day, we didn’t feel it was worth the effort....

"The place is seriously dated and in need of upgrades. My curtains were torn and unusable and with the sun beating in on one of those 100 degree days I was nonplussed. A quick discussion with the very accommodating desk clerk had the curtain “fixed” in no time (still needed replacement because it now couldn’t be opened - Lol.) "We had a nice 3 night stay at the Maryland Inn. The property was well maintained and we enjoyed the historic elements of it. I did use the provided hairdryer which blew a fuse to our room. They fixed it promptly, but our power subsequently went out 3 more times despite us not using anything. Each time they took care of it and did offer a new room if it continued. "Breakfast items were tasty and fresh but something besides sweets would have been nice, such as yogurt, eggs, and nuts. Our room was small but has a bench, desk, full mirror. The bed was comfy but very squeaky. The staff was friendly and helpful. Easy check in and out.
Parking was $50 a night which was nuts. Plenty of garages in the area that would allow you to park for a fraction of that. Excellent location. Quiet and safe with tons of shops and cafes in walking distance.
