"The Annex was nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. Though some have commented on the easiness of checking in and out, we found it difficult without the human interaction. Not having someone at the desk to answer questions about the area, or the hotel made it difficult. Aside from that the rooms were small but were comfortable and provided a bed to rest your body after a long day of walking in the sun. Breakfast was expensive at 2450 yen/pp."

"There are so many things I can rave about when it comes to this hotel. The staff were so kind and made it so easy to do anything at this hotel. Breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options and everything was marked for allergens or food preferences. Everything was super clean and well maintained. It was a very comfortable place to stay. My favorite part about this property was the view. It is near a park and a stadium and has the most amazing view of Tokyo. I also really enjoyed how close it...

"So many people complaining about refunds which this hotel were not processing. I changed me dates 10 days in advance for my second stay with them. Expedia app confirmed ok but never went through and hotel refused to refund despite the lady on reception helping me change it.
Scamming hotel. Was not just me. The staff are rude and unhelpful."

"I arrived at the hotel at 5am and approached the large red doors to the property. The large windows in the lobby were esthetically pleasing when checking in at the digital counter. The checking was easy using name and confirmation number. Another family was present and struggled to check in and watched my process to aid them as well. Towards the end of my check in process the computer failed to provide my keys but with a quick ring of the bell, a staff member appeared and provided assistance....

"The free bottles of water, donuts, alcohol, coffee, pastries and cereal were much appreciated. Rooms are tiny but just enough. Loved the location as it is within walking distance of all that goes going on of Shinjuku. There is a waft of cedar as soon as you walk into the hotel. If you are sensitive then this may not be the place for you."
