"I stumbled across SiloStay on the internet while planning our 30 day trip to New Zealand and had to revise our itinerary to fit this in for 2 nights. We were not disappointed. Inventive, unique, quirky and very well done. Remember to wear socks when going to the lower level to use the toilet at night as the steel stairs are pretty cold on bare feet. "

"Friendly welcome at check in. Having a separate lounge and two bedrooms was perfect for our overnight stay. The beds were comfortable, nice linen, plenty of big towels, good powerful shower, great heatpump to keep us warm. A few improvements: the bathroom heater didn't work, there aren't enough sockets for bedside lights, electric blankets and phone charger."

"Lovely stay in Diamond Bay, unfortunately the weather didn’t let us enjoy the fabulous view as much as we would have like, but it was still a magic view sitting watching the world go by. It was a bit of a drive into Christchurch, but the house had everything we needed for us as a combined family. The house heating worked well and the kitchen was well equipped. It was a great experience showering with a view within the master ensuite. "

"The cottage is very well equipped with everything you might need. Comfortable bed.Our only grouse was the state of the road up to the cottage. We were in a small car, and were in danger of a puncture or broken axle."
