The property is smoke free but at night we noticed the smell of marijauana (our party does not smoke) coming from the room beside us. Pool area was clean water was perfect for our son he enjoyed it. "This was our first experience at such an intimate B&B. I can’t imagine a better experience than what Dora provided for us. We were greeted with bowls of amazing chicken soup and crusty bread.. so thoughtful as she knew just we needed after a long chilly drive. We had a great evening enjoying the beautiful B&B. "Power went out on 3rd of July, I had to work on the 4th for 24 hrs. I found out at work power wouldn't be restored until Tuesday so we decided to get a hotel. Reserved thru Expedia for two days, but somehow, Holiday Inn only had us for one day. So while I'm at the house setting up generators and extension cords, one of the managers came down to the room to have my family leave at noon. "Upon arrival looking at the outside of the building, I was a little skeptical, because the outside of the building could use a little cosmetic lift. But once we got inside the building you can tell that this location has been remodeled and the rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast was very good, and the free drinks at the manager’s reception were on point! We will definitely visit this location again if we’re ever in Detroit again."
