"Breakfast excellent. Lovely property and surroundings..Peaceful location with good parking including electric chargers. Friendly staff. We had an executive room in the old stable block. Very comfortable. Strong shower and water very hot. A couple of minor points that would be easy to remedy: a shelf or basket to put shampoo in rather than on the edge or the bath and a towel hook within easy reach of the shower. "

"Richard was very welcoming. My plans changed on the day of arrival and he extended my stay, no issues at all. Had everything and more than i needed in my room. I stay away from home approximately 6 months of the year for the last 28 years and i think this was the most comfortable bed and fluffiest duvet i have ever had. Very quiet and peaceful area and the best nights sleep, very restful. "

Was seen soon as I walked in and being a pub the lovely lady told me straight away there was live music and it might be a bit noisy. Which I didn’t mind as I was going to work. The room I was in I didn’t hear much of the noise from downstairs at all lovely room food shower clean tidy if I had to grumble about anything it was the fact I had to go to work as the people in the pub downstairs all looked to be having an...

"Lovely staff in an old beautiful building. The breakfast was great and the room was cosy and clean but a little on the colder side. Unfortunately we were directly above the function room which had a party on the Saturday day. The music was so loud that the furniture was vibrating. I should have requested a quiet room upon booking. I wouldn't let it put me off booking again"

"Breakfast was okay, similar to a Premier Inn. Parking was easy but paid for on a machine separately. Room was clean. Staff were fine except we waited over 5 minutes for someone to come to reception. "

"Hotel personnel were very helpful and friendly. Room, Toilet and shower very clean. Tea and coffee in the room was always replenished. The fan system air and refrigeration from the kitchen in the Beefeater was very loud especially at 05:30 AM. All in all I can recommend this hotel. 8 minutes with a Taxi to the train station."

"According to my son and his mate who had travelled from Oxfordshire for a football match the accommodation was everything that was described. The host was super friendly and even took the boys into Grimsby the next morning after my son had lost his car keys at the match 😩 "

The owners were super helpful in terms of their communication ahead of our booking, as well as in answering all of our questions in the build up. The cooked breakfast in the morning was amazing and we really appreciated their friendliness and their suggestions for things to do in the nearby area.
