"This was a fantastic place to stay! Beautiful cottage, very homey and comfortable. One bedroom with a queen bed and a second bedroom with a twin size, full laundry, fire pit, wrap around porch. Just great mountain views and a very clean place. The driveway is quite steep; don't attempt with a low vehicle. Crystal, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful! Highly recommended -- we will definitely be back. "

"The location was perfect—not far from the highway, but with no highway noise. Very peaceful and quiet! The kitchen had all the equipment needed to prepare food to take to a family reunion. "

"We all loved the covered deck. Perfect for catching up, playing games and enjoying the fireplace. We didn’t expect rain all weekend but it didn’t matter. Plenty of space throughout the house. We’d definitely recommend to others. The grand finale was a visit by a huge mama bear and her three cubs. Could not have scripted it any better. "

"Awesome time exploring Lake Santeelah and Fontana Lake. My grandfather grew up in Robbinsville and being up here brings me back to my chikdhood coming up here with him and my family. Just an amazing time. The charcoaled steaks were a bonus!"

"The mountain house was nicely furnished. Great artwork & decor - while a rustic log home, it was "mountain chic" and a nice change from kitschy. My husband & our two dogs enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was clean & so relaxing with great mountain views. The view from the back deck was amazing. The rocking chairs were comfy & the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The cabin also has a charcoal grill & fire pit & cornhole/games. While you are surrounded by trees with no neighbors...

"This was our second stay here. Though the trees have grown up a bit, it still a great place to sit on the porch and see the lake and the mountains. Very quiet spot."

"Check-in was easy and the house was very clean. If you like a location in a peaceful setting in the woods listening to a babbling brook, this is the perfect house for your stay. It is a short drive to the NOC but worth the serenity. Lots of porch area for family hangout, and places to hang boat gear for drying."

"I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly.
