"Bathroom and bedroom was clean. Actual bathroom fixtures wear shining. Good supply of towels and toiletries also. Lots of shops nearby - Walmart and fine clothing stores - The Gap, Victoria Secret etc. Hotel located in Eastwood shopping area with wonderful restaurants in Eastwood shopping area along with other restaurants down the street on Lansing St. Blvd. There is also a bank close by."

"Very clean room, super nice staff. The breakfast was top notch (try the lemon or churro flavored waffles, they were outstanding!) It’s a nice quiet hotel and I felt very comfortable there. When I visit my family in East Lansing, I will definitely be coming back to this hotel."

"Staff were helpful and friendly. My biggest disappointment was the lack of a mini fridge in the room. Most hotels of this caliber provide a mini fridge, and it would have been useful for beverages and snacks."

"Room was clean, but bathroom could use more attention. Dirty washcloth fell from shower curtain when I closed it. Hair on toilet as well. Overall, good stay. Staff was very nice!!!"

"The wild goose and was beyond what I ever imagined it was such a nice quiet quaint place to take a nice break and just relax I got to enjoy it with my girlfriend for my birthday Al was amazing and as was the young gentleman that made my breakfast in the morning Paul maybe? I woke up at 6am from a random alarm on accident my fault. I'm terrible with names in the morning unfortunately but they were both so friendly and amazing and Yogi the dog was awesome. But not only were the rooms amazingly...

"Unfortunately, our room was not as clean as expected. It wasn't filthy, but there was food debris in the sink drain, crumbs in the drawers, and hair in the shower. My bigger concern was a water leak in one of our rooms (Room 120). It appeared to be an ongoing issue rather than something that had just occurred. When I reported a puddle of water outside our door, the front desk staff responded by mopping it up, but this only left the floor more slippery. The following day, I spoke with another...

"Excellent hotel all around. The lobby and rooms are in great condition - it's surprising that the building is about to undergo renovations in late 2026! The front desk and breakfast staff were great. Location is very quiet and convenient. I would definitely stay here again."

"The room was nice and clean and the beds were comfy. I wished there had been a microwave for our eating out leftovers. There was not much water pressure so showers were affected. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was pretty basic…I missed having waffles…and there was little daily variety. We were charged $10 a day to park! I think that was outrageous!"

It made it a little uncomfortable I dont agree with $15 a day for parking I didnt like the freight trains running all day and night"
