"I booked two of the same type of room on the same booking - king rooms, same price
Our room was small, bed from wall to wall, no room to manoeuvre around the bed or have a bedside table for drink, phone etc’ you had to climb over the other person to get out of bed
Our friends however with the same room, same price had a room double the size of ours - how could this be?
The cleanliness of the shower/toilet cubicle could also be improved
It tainted an otherwise pleasant stay in a great location"

"Great location. London was alive on a Friday night. Good security at the door.
Cocoon concept was good for us but better air flow/ cooling would help. Was set for 19C but it was much warmer than that. Our room was at the end of hallway so flow may have been restricted.
Late night shower, had an early flight home and the hot water was only warm - not hot.
For the ££££ they charged, you expect all the comforts to be working at 100%."

"Overall, we had a great experience at Cartwright Gardens, and in fact it was our second stay there. My only slight complaint would be that the hours allowed for doing laundry are a bit limiting in that you either have to get a later start to your day since you can’t start doing it until 8 o’clock or you have to end your day sooner to get back so you can finish your laundry before 8 o’clock at night."

"An easy place to stay for someone older and interested in seeing the British Museum that is across Russel Square from the hotel. I enjoyed the variety of the buffet breakfast. Staff were helpful. My room with a double bed was small, tucked over what I can only describe as the industrial alley of the hotel. No traffic noise but white noise coming from what might be the air filtration system. No great view except the alley and noisy during the day as there were work men making repairs to the...
