"This property owner told that he will not give the room even though it was confirmed via expedia. He said i don't care if its booked via Expedia. He forced me to pay the full amount 2 days before the booking and only then he told its confirmed. Area behind the hotel is scary with worst crowd"

"Staying here has been the worst experience, forget other aspects, staff is not only incompetent but crooks as well. We booked classic room which was confirmed and when we reached the property, they claimed they are all booked and issue was with website. We had to settle for a much cheaper room since it was already late under the promise that they would refund the difference which they agreed to but never did. "This appeared to be the most luxurious hotel in the area. We had previously stayed at A.J. Grand and found it did not have sufficient ameneties in the room and booked at Vivanta for the second night of our stay in Mangalore. Really happy we made the switch! "I happened to stay in Ocean Pearl for a day in last week of December and my experience was delightful.
Some delightful points:
1) Eventhough the hotel is situated on a busy junction, but rooms were very well insulated, never felt any trafic noise filtering into the room.
2) Hotel Staff was very prompt & helpful in their checkin support & during our stay.
3) Rooms were very clean & well maintained. Beddings and Toiletries were taken care.
4) Hot water was available round the clock.
