"Lack of shops or restaurants within walking distance was the only downside. Room (executive king) was very nice with bonus view of Sydney skyline and a rugby field just below the building. Basic kitchen. Washer and dryer. "

"It was our 3rd stay at the Nightcap Hotel. Check-in is always a bit long as the staff is usually busy serving customers at the bar. We don't mind the wait anyway... Room are on the small side and mattress very soft but overall, the room has everything that is needed. I'll be happy to return again next year. Nice Asian restaurants in the area too if you don't want to eat on site."

"A solid but older property lacking a restaurant or 24hr reception but well-located. Don't expect much from the touted "balcony" - ours was tiny and space taken up with the air-conditioner. Overall clean with helpful staff but a little tired looking."

"The motel is very tired…. Couldn’t open the curtains at all, no hot water our second day there, outside our doorway a bad hole in the driveway…. But the bed was good, nice clean white sheets, nice towels (but nowhere to hang them)…. Very below average accommodation!"

"I had traveled all day and I was tired. I have a knee injury and was hoping for a room on the first floor. I arrived late but then the staff came and he was just wonderful. He told me he gave me a room on the first floor and lo and behold, he gave me a handicapped room which worked really well for me. Thankful for the great service."

"Staff were unhelpful, housekeeping looked to have rushed room including missing essentials like toilet paper. They were still cleaning rooms next to us after arriving at 8pm. It was a good job we’d been travelling for over 14 hours so just showered and passed out asleep. Would not stay here again and pay the amount we did, it wasn’t worth it."

"Staff are always lovely and welcoming. Our second bedroom was locked but they sent maintenance straight up to our room to open it up. Even with the planes overhead, the rooms are very quiet and no need for the ear plugs that are provided."
