"Breakfast was very small"

"Located on the other side of Hallstatt, in the small town of Obertraun, this hotel offers a calm and serene environment. We booked a lake-view room and had an amazing view. The rooms are small but clean and well maintained. There is a café next door and a pizza place nearby. Breakfast was basic and not worth €18. There are benches by the lake where you can sit and enjoy the view. Hallstatt is about 10 minutes away by car, boat, or bus."

We had the panoramic room, it isn’t a full panaramic view..so I feel the room is misrepresented..it should really just say “mountain view”..the word panaramic is mis leading…the staff seem not happy whatso ever ..and it says “free welcome drink” ..but we ended up with a tiny jam… Good stay but seems to be a bit of false advertising."

"I did not realize until I had gotten there that we were staying at an adjacent addresss , not the original building. It was nice to have some access to the original building when we went for breakfast. There was construction going on near the property on the “mountain side” had I know, I would have selected the lake view. Breakfast was in a beautiful room and had a wide variety of dishes."

"Einfaches Hotel inkl. Restaurant, Zimmer war sauber und Personal mega Nett. Beim Frühstück wird man gefragt ob man ein frisches Rührei oder Spiegelei möchte. Das Restaurant bietet auch super Essen, sodass man sich erst gar nicht auf die Suche machen muss nach einem tollen Restaurant. Werden wieder kommen :)"

"We were warmly welcomed and our suitcases carried up for us the second we arrived. We booked a family room which was spacious and clean - nothing fancy but pleasent enough. We appreciated the Aircon during a heatwave! The pool was nice, but very cold. No one else was in the spa area so I enjoyed the quiet! Breakfast was nice, and all the waiting staff were super friendly. The bar looked nice but we didn't have time to use it. It's a shame they didn't have a restaurant in the evening as that...

"The hotel was nicely renovated with quirky details but still filled with rich history. We love the small details and the amenities and also the complementary wellness zone with sauna was a nice touch. The location being walking distance to the station was also great because we can carry our heavy luggages without much trouble. And although it is next to a busy road, it wasn’t noisy or chaotic once we entered the building."
