"We loved our stay in Lauterbrunnen, and this property was a wonderful choice for our group of three couples. The location is excellent—just steps from the bus stop and with a lovely trail that leads directly into town.A few areas could use improvement. The mattresses, particularly in the loft, were quite uncomfortable, and the ones in the bedrooms felt close to worn out. "This place was the best place we could have stayed in Grindelwald! The views were awesome, the supplied amenities were great, and having a parking spot was a good addition too. We had everything we needed to make all of our meals while there and the walk to the COOP supermarket took about 7 minutes. "I’m not sure you could find a better view! We loved our stay. I read all the reviews so was prepared for the walk uphill into town. Yes it is steep, but my 7 and 4 year old could do it. "The apt is was clean and neat and the location is great- across from the Coop grocery store and close to the shuttle bus to the base of the ski area (15 mins walk if you don't take the shuttle bus). The host was very helpful with getting our stuff to/from the parking lot.But, the apartment is very small, for a family of 5, we found it too crowded. "We absolutely fell in love with Wengen and our stay here was pretty much perfect. It is a bit of a walk uphill but there is a shuttle provided when needed. We chose to walk it because of the surrounding beauty. It was so quiet and comfortable. The beds were great and the kitchen had everything we needed. The washer and dryer was very useful.
