"We had an amazing time at the purple door! We wrre able to brimg our fur baby which was a HUGE plus. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I arrived knowing we made a good choice. Its a very cute little place. There was never a claim to be a luxury, upscale rental. Yes there could be a few updates. The air conditioner worked fine for us in a heatwave. In fact, it was a little chilly. I would go back for the views and location.We loved havimg access to the pools. Met some really...

"Property was exceptional. Nick anticipated everything that we might possibly need and provided it to us at check in without us needing to ask. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and will definitely be booking this property again in the future. "

"We had a pleasant stay. The yard was in need of being cleaned up, but over all it was a nice place. We would stay there again."

"Our stay was great. How wonderful to come back to a cool and clean home after a HOT day seeing the ponies swim! The only suggestions we have are add some measuring cups to the kitchen and some towel hooks to the bathrooms. Otherwise we had a wonderful time!"

"This house is great. The many decks off the front of the house have great views of the bay and the screened in porch out back offers a great place to sit out at night without worry of bugs. Every room has a smart tv so each kid had a room to watch their own shows. The loft is stuffed with books and games to keep us busy when it was time to shut the tvs. The house is very functional and well laid out. Perfect for our family of 5 and a puppy. Highly recommend."

"We absolutely loved the location of the property - so walkable and bikeable to so many fun things, and nestled in a neighborhood with a great vibe. Easy communication with the host when we needed it, too. "

"Beautiful cabin situated at the back of a farm, very peaceful. Very spacious and inviting. Only a half hour to Chincoteague and an hour to Ocean City. Nice porch with a swing and 2 chairs to sit out in the morning with a cup of coffee (coffee maker provided). We loved having a pool table for our evening entertainment. Only thing we didn't like was the very tiny kitchen, absolutely no counter space at all :( "

"It was very pleasant. The pool was under maintenance and that would have been nice to have but the communication about it and everything else was very prompt and clear. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We enjoyed our stay in this charming house, right in the heart of Chincoteague island. It was spotless upon arrival, and we were thrilled to have been able to bring our dogs along. The large fenced-in yard was such a pleasant surprise! Perfect for the dog-loving beach-going family!"

"We booked this at the very last minute so we could clean out our father’s home (he passed the week before). It was perfect for our needs. One caution…the grass has tiny little burrs that stick to socks and flip flops. Nothing to do about them but if you have a dog, check their paws. We were even able to add an additional night easily when the clean out took longer than we expected. I would recommend!"

"Perfect location and very comfortable house. We had three adults and a child with us and all had space so we weren’t crowded but still could gather for meals. The screened porch was lovely. Watching sunrises from the pier in the morning was beautiful and we even saw dolphins swim by."
