"Such a cute little place with so many small details that make a big impact! It was perfect for my husband and I. Plenty of blankets and pillows, towels, etc. We loved it and thought it was so cute, comfy and cozy! We visited old town Frankfort and highly recommend Stainless-a mead brewery and The Cooperage-a quaint littl3bar with music, pool, darts and shuffleboard."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this house in Frankfort! The home was beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel warm and welcoming. It was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway — from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy bedding and extra supplies we didn’t even know we’d need. You can tell the owners really care about their guests’ experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

"Our family had a lot of fun playing volleyball in the pool. We enjoyed the games in the basement, but some of them didn’t work right or cost money. We loved seeing rabbits play in the yard and even spotted some deer. We would have loved to fish in the pond but it was totally algae covered and had very limited access for fishing. Overall our family had a great time being together at this house with it’s quiet and peaceful setting."

"Was the perfect cabin. Was excited to find this on VRBO. Cabin was easy to find. Close to town and other destinations. Cabin was very clean, smelled great, had the perfect amount of space. Great little kitchen and living room area. Overall a very nice space. Was affordable and well worth the value. Owner was very responsive to any messages, etc. will definitely be our go to lodging when visiting family in Kentucky! "

"The house was great and well stocked. The outside games were a lot of fun. Host was super responsive and addressed a broken grill immediately so we could grill the next day. That was really great. A good home base for exploring caves, rivers, and bourbon. "

"This property met all of our needs for an overnight stay. We cooked a dinner and breakfast and had the basics needed to do that. If you are planning a long stay then you’ll want to bring your kitchen items such as … foil, plastic wrap, extra spices, hand soap and such. The property isn’t far from town but it’s off the beaten path. We enjoyed the scenery driving to the property. Check in and check out was easy and smooth. "

"This property is just as pictured in the listing, although with some of the pictures, we expected to be further off the road and more secluded. However, it was not an issue with us once we settled in. The host responded to us very quickly when we needed more paper supplies. The Bourbon Hill Retreat has all the amenities to make for a comfortable home base while you explore the many distilleries in the area."

"We loved the container cabin—it was super quaint and packed with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. While we really enjoyed our experience, the cabin did feel a bit dirty in spots. I knew it was rustic going in, but some things, like the floorboards, seemed overlooked. The covers also had a damp smell, which was a little off-putting.
