Experience the tranquility and beauty of nature in our charming cabin nestled on a picturesque farm along the Kentucky River. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, which is why we have designed this cabin with accessibility in mind, ensuring that guests with limited mobility can enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay on the Bourbon Trail.

Our cozy cabin features a thoughtful layout that maximizes utility and style in a small footprint. The cabin features two queen-sized beds, one in the main living area that's fully accessible as well as one in a unique, open loft.

The cabin's kitchen is outfitted with essential amenities, including a mini fridge and a toaster oven for preparing quick meals. The area below the kitchen sink is left open, ensuring that wheelchair users can easily navigate the kitchen space.

One of the cabin's most impressive features is the fully accessible bathroom, which boasts a curbless shower, grab bars, and plenty of room to maneuver.

Step outside the cabin and onto the expansive deck, which is easily accessible via a ramp. The deck offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding farm. Watch the sun set over the pond and ridge, listen to the chirping of birds, and enjoy the fresh country air.

As delightful as the cabin is, the true gem of this listing is the access to the breathtaking property itself. Embark on an adventure along our trails, which winds through the farm, offering stunning views of the KY River. Gather around the common fire pit in the evenings, sharing stories and roasting marshmallows under the starlit sky.

Our cabin provides the perfect setting for individuals, couples, or a small family to experience the charm of the Bourbon Trail.

The entire Chicory cabin is yours to enjoy for the length of the stay.

In addition to your cabin, our guests have access to the majority of the farms. This includes:
- The two large ponds
- The ridge trail along the KY River
- The communal fire pit area
- The trail to West 6th Farm

We're available by phone or through the app to be a resource to help you with anything you need, but we offer a hands-off check-in and check-out experience so you can enjoy the quiet and tranquility of the farm.

Location:
Our cabin is conveniently located just 10 minutes from downtown Frankfort, where you can explore local shops, restaurants, and historical sites. Bourbon enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that the Buffalo Trace Distillery is a mere 7-minute drive away, allowing you to easily explore one of the most iconic distilleries on the Bourbon Trail. For those looking to enjoy water activities, a ramp providing access to the Kentucky River is just a 5-minute drive from the cabin.

Working Farm:
Please keep in mind that the cabin is situated on a working farm. While this adds to the authentic rural charm of your stay, it also means that you should be prepared for the weather, wildlife, and terrain. Come prepared for wind and other seasonal weather. We recommend taking appropriate precautions such as wearing insect repellent and checking for ticks after outdoor activities. The farm terrain can be uneven, with rocks and other natural obstacles, so please watch your step and wear appropriate footwear when exploring the property. Finally, please be mindful that some of the cattle fences are electrified.

Steep Stair Treads:
Inside the cabin, please be cautious when using the stairs to access the loft area. The stair treads are steeper than standard steps, which may present a challenge for some guests, especially those with very young children.
NO PETS. The Host does not allow pets: There are no pets allowed on the Premises. If the Guest is found to have pets on the Premises, this Agreement and any Security Deposit shall be forfeited.

NO SMOKING POLICY. Smoking on the Premises is prohibited.

SUBLETTING. The guest does not have the right to sublet the Premises.

INSPECTION. The Host has the right to inspect the Premises with prior notice as in accordance with State law. Should the Guest violate any of the terms of this Agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately in accordance with State law. The Guest waives all rights to process if they fail to vacate the premises upon termination of the rental period. The Guest shall vacate the Premises at the expiration time and date of this agreement.

TRASH. The Guests shall dispose of all waste material generated during the rental

QUIET ENJOYMENT. The Guest, along with neighbors, shall enjoy each other’s company in a quiet and respectful manner to each other’s enjoyment. The Guest is expected to behave in a civilized manner and shall be good neighbors with any residents of the immediate area. Creating a disturbance of the area by large gatherings or parties shall be grounds for immediate termination of this Agreement.

USE OF PREMISES. The Guest shall use the Premises for residential use only. The Guest is not authorized to sell products or services on the Premises or conduct any commercial activity.

ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. The Guest shall use the Premises for legal purposes only. Any other such use that includes but is not limited to illicit drug use, verbal or physical abuse of any person or illegal sexual behavior shall cause immediate termination of this Agreement with no refund of pre-paid Rent.
