"Everything was absolutely perfect. The whole place felt like it was brand new and the owners were very friendly and helpful "

"Buffelsdrift is an absolute gem. We loved every moment of our stay and wish we could have enjoyed it for a bit longer. The 5 star service - from reception, restaurant (food and service), turn down service and check out - was excellent. We will be making another reservation very soon! Thank you!!"

"We merely just for one night. Upon arrival, hotel did not have our booking information as Hotel.com did not inform hotel about our reservation. Very poorly from Hotel.com Had to show my invoice for reception that Accomodation was paid directly to Hotel.com We got the Queens Residence and it was quite spacious and big, both rooms with own en-suite. "Super nette Gastgeberin, toll gestaltete Zimmer, Unterstützung bei der Freizeitgestaltung wenn gewünscht. "

"Charming rustic setting on a riverfront. Conveniently located just a couple of blocks from shopping and restaurants. Free onsite parking. Friendly, helpful owner/operator. Excellent full breakfast with fresh homemade bread, cooked to order. Many extra touches that made this an excellent choice and made us wish that we could have stayed longer."

"The hotel has just been taken over and is under going changes Breakfast in the adjoining hotel was delicious The new owner is attentive and understood our concerns"

"Clean, cozy and wonderful staff!"

"O Hotel fica em uma linda propriedade com avestruzes e outras aves. Fica ao lado da fazenda de avestruzes Highland. Quarto espaçoso e banheiros amplos. Equipe muito prestativa, especialmente o garçom Garreth. Ótima opção em Oudtshoorn"

"The room was really nice, some great views of the mountains and the whole area was nice and quiet "

"The most wonderful and unique stay of our whole South Africa trip. Staff were excellent and a shout out to Elton our game driver who was so knowledgeable and we will cherish our pre-breakfast game drive memories forever! We were a family of 4 and our young boys loved it."

"Andre is a phenomenal manager, and Mooiplaas is our favourite place to stay in Oudtshoorn. All staff are helpful, kind and caring, brilliantly clean and beautiful rooms, highly recommended. Be sure to engage the astrologer Ben if the night sky is clear! Amazing, 5 stars! The Barkers will be back :)"

"Our host Hermein was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was everything you could have wanted. I had the fruit with granola and yogurt. Followed by loads of toast and a cooked breakfast with the tastiest smoked bacon I’ve ever tasted. She organised a free taxi to and from a lovely local restaurant on the evening of our arrival. We left the next morning for the short drive to the caves, the wildlife sanctuary and the ostrich...
