"Stayed here to attend a wedding at Spillian. The location is very close... FYI... I recommend that you plan to drive to the venue. The home is cozy and the host communicated t/o the stay in case we needed anything. LOVED the covered porch off the kitchen... so relaxing with the creek flowing behind the property. As a bird watcher enjoyed watching the red-winged back birds and swallows near the small pond. We even briefly spotted a hummingbird! "

"We loved the home and location, was a bit disappointed that a washer and dryer were not available but upon reading the house information again I realized that a washer and dryer were not listed so that’s my fault. The house is about 1 1/2 hours from the Bethel Museum that covers the Woodstock music festival. The museum is awesome. The scenery is beautiful and lots of hiking trails. Unfortunately for us it rained the entire trip."

"Our family had a lovely stay in Phoenicia at the "cozy bungalow." It was very pleasant to walk to town and the bungalow itself was indeed cozy. Enjoyed the sauna probably even more than expected after a long (cold, rainy) hike. Host provided excellent communication for any concerns."

"We had an amazing time at this beautiful home! The house was spotless when we arrived, and we were welcomed with a warm fire already going in the wood stove – such a nice touch. Peter and Lara were there to greet us and give us a tour, making us all feel right at home. We also really appreciated how responsive they were when we had a small issue with the hot tub – they took care of it right away. The place is absolutely gorgeous and so unique – you can really see the love and care they put into...

"A wonderful space for a family reunion ski get away. Enough personal space for each while also offering great shared space for warm gatherings and meals. Host was very accommodating and easily available. We would definitely stay again!"

"First time to Hobart/Stamford area. Beautiful unspoiled sparsely populated area. Clean comfortable Chalet style home with gorgeous view. A few nice restaurants nearby and the bookstores in Hobart. Hope this area never changes will be back."

"I had a wonderful few days hiking with my dog. Great house and immense amount of property and land to walk the dog in, even if I didn’t want to drive to the trails to hike. Fabulous retreat! And the hostess was great and accommodating."

"Family and I had a great time. The game room and hot tub with a beautiful view of Hunter mtn were a hit with my kids. Owner was very attentive to our needs. I highly recommend if looking for a spacious Mountain house."
