"We loved our stay at Leigh Family Bach! A spacious place the whole family could relax in. We loved the size of the 2 main bedrooms, great for teens! The extra room outside suited our older son and the bedroom off the kitchen suited hubby and I to a T. Great communication with Nigel. Holiday went off without a hitch! "

"We took part in the 20 km run in the Tawharanui Regional Park. The location of the bach was perfect. The owners were very helpful and we would highly recommend a stay at the Yellow Bach"

"We had a wonderful stay, we were greeted so kindly by Robbie and Anette (Zac and Bonnie). The home was well equipped for us to make breakfast and lunch. The pull out sofa was easy to set up quickly also. So close to Snells Beach which was lovely during high tide and plenty of beaches nearby. We frequented the local bakeries and restaurants which were all conveniently nearby. Thank you for sharing your home with us. "

"The cottage was just beautiful, a quiet peaceful place that definitely bought us peace coming from a big city. I would live here if I could. Amazing amentities and the bath, goodness coming from a small apartment this was what the doctor ordered. Highly, highly recommend. "

"Amazing location! The beach is almost at your doorstep. This made it very easy to hop on our paddle boards many times a day. Shallow waters and the lovely sand bars were perfect for toddlers and kids. The spa was a slight let down. Likely not much use, not easy to access and not clean. Thankfully the ocean was amazing and we had great weather!"

"Kereru Cottage lives up to it name. Views through native bush to the ocean greet you. The cottage has everything you need and it is located within 10 minutes drive of all the local atrractions. I highly recommend you experience this slice of calm and tranquility."

"We celebrated our 25th anniversary at this delightful property! Communication was fabulous with Shirley. This home was absolutely perfect with all the amenities needed and n the kitchen to prepare our picnic lunches for our trips north. This location provided us with many options for snorkeling at Goats Island, hiking at Whangerie Falls, beach walking at all of the beautiful coastline. We definitely rate this above a five and would return again and again."

"Very accomodating host! Let us to check in late at night and took the time to show us all the amenities. Room was kitted out with everything we needed and the location is a beautiful and very peaceful lifestyle property. We were also given a wonderful tour of their chicken run and pigeon coop in the morning. Highly recommended!"

"This was our first time with book a Bach and we were not disappointed. The unit was modern, clean and a pleasure to stay in. Basics (tea,coffee etc) were supplied and there was even a wonderful tray of fruit. We were greeted by Amanda and she was just lovely and so helpful. A wonderful stay. "
