"The bach is excellent, light, clean and comfortable. What makes this bach exceptional are the extras... a good sauna, a relaxing spa pool and a cold bath for the (fool)hardy. There was electrolyte water to drink afterwards and craft supplies rather than a TV which was a nice touch. We could only stay one night this time didn't have time to ride the bikes around Point Wells which is a charming little settlement. We did buy excellent takeaways from the little store close by which were...

"A well appointed, spotlessly clean, and oh so comfortable hideaway, with lovely bush views. Hearing kiwi calling in the night and kākā during the day added to the feeling of being somewhere very special. Our hosts were lovely, and generous with their time and suggestions of things to do. The bach is just up the road from the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary (and night-time kiwi spotting), and the Matakana Market and Cinema are just 10 minutes away. We'll be back!"

"Property was modern, clean and really nice with great use of space. Excellent location, short walking distance to the main part of town with lots of food options and the brewery across the road was a great place to do a relaxed beer tasting while listening to some live music.
Would highly recommend and will likely stay here again."
