Villa in heart of Matakana

Welcome to our unique and cozy villa, located in the epicentre of the vibrant Matakana village. Just a 45-minute drive from Auckland city on the fabulous new northern motorway.

This new 1 bedroom, 2 level villa is perfect for couples or individuals seeking comfortable and classic accommodation. Outside your doorstep lies the enchanting allure of Matakana Village where boutique shopping, excellent dining, a cinema and the famous local markets await your exploration. A perfect place to stay while you explore the local beaches, wineries and scenic walks.

Our villa offers a stylish and new space spread over two levels. On entry you walk into an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances providing you with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal.

On the entry level is also a separate toilet and combined condenser washing machine and dryer. The bi folding doors open up to a small deck area where the two comfortable chairs can be positioned to make the most the outdoors to relax and unwind after an enjoyable day exploring Matakana and local sites.

The bedroom is on the second level which features a beautiful king size bed with quality linen, ensuring a restful night's sleep. There is a separate bathroom with underfloor heating and stocked with bathroom amenities.

There is a private off street carpark, ensuring you always have a space no matter how lively the village gets.

Great Location

A very clean and tidy unit with great location. Walking distance from Markets and Restaurants. The only down side was the heat in the upstairs bedroom was bad even with the fan (which was too noisy to have on all night) The downstairs had heat pump, which was great, but if staying in the Summer be aware you will struggle to sleep upstairs

Perfect spot for Matakana stay

A very comfortable small apartment - good quality linen and comfie bed. A bedside lamp would be nice for reading in bed. No need of TV if you have a tablet. Would book again.

Matakana Escape

Wonderful 3 day stay. So clean and tidy with everything we needed. Great location with easy walk to bars and restaurants and markets. The hosts were great with communication and would recommend a stay here to all who enjoy a peaceful getaway.

2 min walk to shops

We stayed at this lovely stay as a last minute plan to visit the Matakana markets! The place was incredibly local (essentially cross the road and you’re at the market). Very tidy, modern and sorted with everything you’d need. Lovely stay!

Great central Matakana spot

New townhouse right across the road from the Matakana Market and 8Wired Brewery. This was also the prefect location to explore the wider region. Happily recommended for couples getting away on a break.

Really clear instructions. The location is fantastic! Appreciated the info on local things to do as we were only there for one day/night. Great linen, loved the coffee cups and little touches in kitchen and bathroom. We hadn’t noticed in listing there was no TV but we used the wonderboom and listened to music - was great to not watch TV! We used the washing machine - followed instructions and had no issues. Would have loved an iron and ironing board! Highly recommend.

Nice modern villa in the village. Handy for the local shops and restaurants. Well equipped generally - although no TV the home has good wifi access. Being street front road noise was a little disturbing but overall was a good place to break our journey home.

Wedding guest accommodation

Jacqui was a fantastic host from the star. Booking was easy, communication was prompt and clear. She was also very accommodating regarding a request I made, this ensured I was able to manage some curve balls (related to flight arrive) that occurred prior to checking in and then getting ready for a wedding. The property was really lovely. Sparkling clean, the coffee machine came in very handy and has some beautiful artwork. I’m not sure there would be a better location if you want to enjoy Matakana and the surrounding areas in a super relaxed way. I would happily rebook and recommend to anyone.
