"This was the second year our family rented this property. As was last year, everything was as advertised with a couple upgrades. Gerald again allowed us to park our camper on his vacant lot at no additional charge. It allowed us to continue our vacation at Rend Lake without driving all the way back home to pick up camper. Our kids and grandkids love all the amenities down at the spacious dock. We will definitely return."

"High quality room, with farm privacy and atmosphere. We would recommend it and stay there again. Only one thing: The ladder to the loft bedroom is quite steep. My wife struggled a bit with it. But then, she is in her late 60's. Nevertheless, a good place that we will recommend. A/C worked well, and was needed. Room very clean. We hardly saw staff, which was fine, as we enjoyed our privacy."

"We were there to attend a wedding so weren’t there much. We did observe there was trash left on the deck and lower deck could have used a good sweeping and cob webs removed. Pillows could also be upgraded. Might want to work on front screen door. Very, very squeaky coming in and out. Over all it met the needs we required for our stay. Thanks for being quick to return our calls"

"This property is great!! The house is clean and the host has thought of everything you might need. Very few rentals on the lake will provide coffee and creamer and pretty much any seasoning you can think of. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and even a crockpot. Allison responded right away when I messaged her. They have a great dog, Kevin, who visits the guests and takes a dip in the pond. Unfortunately we have very hyper dogs and one is not always receptive to other dogs so...

"Beautiful log home. The view of the lake couldn’t be better. Be aware that there are many, many steps to the water, but they are not steep. We are over 70 years old and were able to handle them, although we can feel it in our calves today. It was a plus to have the electric hot water pot. My husband likes his coffee in the morning, but I prefer tea. Perfect for us!"
