"Overall it’s a nice hotel with a great central location. But that’s kind of where the good ended for us. The room was a bizarre layout with the sink at the foot of the bed instead of in the bathroom, the bathroom was extremely small which was very uncomfortable. And if we’re going to mention uncomfortable we should talk about the bed that was hard as a rock, made awful metal clanking sounds with any movement on one side and just overall was not good. "Front desk staff, especially Bailey , was very helpful and made me stay confortable. The breakfast is pretty standard but lots of options and well staffed. Convenient for work at Sacred Heart hospital."

"Staying here is like stepping back in time to a more elegant and refined era. The house is filled with antiques and has been decorated with great taste. It has a wonderful sitting area downstairs, and the bedrooms are whimsical and delightful. The breakfasts far exceeded my expectations. Maybe best thing of all is the proprietor, Holland. She is warm, engaging and thoroughly charming. My wife and I hope to have reasons to visit Spokane, again, soon, so we can stay here, again. "

"Great service, friendly staff, convenient restaurant which made me a superb sandwich and serves Starbucks coffee. The room was very clean and quiet and I slept great in the bed. I'd stay here again without question. Just outside was the river trail with great river scenery, and a quarter mile or so to Riverfront Park and downtown. Also, the parking was generous and well lit."

"Checked in on Sat May 16. Our 1st room toilet wouldn't flush. Took the top off & the latch inside kept coming off everytime you'd try to flush. Went to call the front desk, phone was unplugged. Then the buttons didn't work for front desk. Went down to ask for another room. 2nd room was same style room but the shower tub paint was literally peeling completely off as we were looking at it. Phone worked this time, called for a new room. They said all they have in the same style is accessibility...

"We are very impressed with the experience we had because our room was next to some very unruly neighbours and, when we brought it to the attention of the front desk, we weren’t really expecting much to be done because the hotel was pretty full. So, it was a pleasant surprise to hear from Jonathan, the manager, with an offer to move to another room. Not only that he gave us a bag of goodies as a peace offering, which was such a nice touch! "Street parking was really easy to find. Staff was very nice. It’s always nice to have access to a full gym and pool. We stay here every time we come to Spokane. A nice stay without a crazy price tag. Can’t wait to come back!"

"The facility was older but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was satisfactory, but the bathroom was in poor shape. The bathtub had some type of epoxy like they use on boats all over the bottom of the tub. It was bumpy and peeling. The bathtub was very uninviting. I contemplated not showing because it looked like the stuff on the tub would come off. I would definitely not take a bath."
