"This stay was a total surprise as the hotel was a gem. Great location and rooms and everything worked. The best part of the stay were the staff who were so focused on first class customer service. From the time of check-in to check-out we could not have asked for more. The welcome and conversation were warm and genuine and when we mentioned we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary to receive a bottle of wine unexpectedly was just the best. "This was a pretty rough stay. The parking is an obvious mess with it being downtown but the hotel offered their parking at the cost of $10, 2 blocks away. We luckily found free street parking that was out front. We got to the room pretty late, the room is very clean no complaints there, but the AC did not work. We had to sleep at 75 degree through the entire night, aka, we did not sleep well. We did call to ask about it and they did offer us to switch rooms, but it was already very late and we...

"First, we were told the room slept 3 adults. With only 1 King bed, that wasn't going to happen. Then the TV only had 6 working channels (They had lost their contract with Direct TV). There was no microwave in the room. The conditioner was empty in the shower and when we asked for more, no response. Called the next day and asked again and they brought us shower gel. The toilet would continue flushing itself every few minutes unless you jiggled the handle."

"The bar has a good menu with a great selection of alcohol, beer and wine. The bartenders make a great martini! The coffee bar that is also very good. They have Starbucks coffee and fresh pasties made by the hotel kitchen. Our favorite is the breakfast burrito. Our room was clean, but service was spotty and in the end we had to request maid service after 3 nights."
