"Hotel was very clean and in a great location. Close to the attractions and the train station. View from the rooftop bar was amazing, but both the bar and restaurant were closed for the winter season. Breakfast options were amazing as well. The only thing is getting on our balcony was a bit tricky and the doorway couldn't open fully. Shower had great pressure as well. And the staff were super friendly and helpful."

If you are staying longer book a room with a view or on a higher floor. The room is extremely comfortable and modern. The decor is clean and in good condition. The bed was also very comfortable. "The Athens Gate is perfectly located to see the sights of Athens. The restaurant has a wonderful view of the Parthenon. Lots of restaurants in the area. The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. The beds were comfy and the room was very clean. Would stay here again"

"My family and I had a WONDERFUL stay. The staff were incredibly helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The dinner served on the terrace was also incredibly. The rooftop terrace has a wonderful view of the Acropolis and the hotel is situated in a great area. Highly recommend. "

"We celebrate our wedding anniversary here and stay for 4 nights. Breakfast area is decent and wide choice and breakfast is free and all included, great save. Every front desk staff are friendly, extremely helpful and cater everything we need during our stay. They save the room for us though we had a midnight 3 am check in, little dessert cake on check in is an added bonus. Especially thanks to Mary, Mary is absolutely brilliant stylist, and both of us had a very nice and satisfied haircut....

"We loved this property. It is right outside the Akropolis, walking distance from Parliment/changing of the guards and great restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Amazing rooftop bar with views of Akropolis and an outstanding breakfast included with the room. Would highly recommend. "

"A very good hotel in a central location with friendly, trustworthy staff. The rooms in the hotel area are attractively designed. I've already mentioned the noise at the reception desk at night from hotel service providers, but there's also something charming about a place that isn't perfect."
