"Stayed for two nights as a group of three. Fabulous, peaceful and spacious place to stay with spectacular views and a full kitchen. Couldn’t fault it. Location makes this stay best suited to travellers with a car. Although, if you enjoy walking it’s not too far to head downhill to access the Frankton trail that runs along the lake or across to a track that will ultimately take you to Queenstown Hill."

"A magical place in beautiful setting with unbelievable views. Lovely, charming staff and managers made everything easy and enjoyable. Excellent food with multiple choices and a tasting menu with wine pairings that was perfect each night, a great surprise given the small size of the lodge. Definitely one of my most memorable stays! Worthy of the cost."

"2nd time staying here. Overall had a great stay. Spa and Sauna was great as always. Room needs some refurbishing. Always had moisture on the window. Needs some air circulation. My first morning for breakfast I had to wait more than half an hour to get my coffee. And when it did arrive they gave me a wrong type. Breakfast was average too. Overall happy with the stay."

"We had a great stay. The townhouse is stunning and much bigger than it appears in the photos. The views from the kitchen and lounge are spectacular. I would highly recommend. The property sleeps 6 with.3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We were a family of 5. We would.most definitely come back."

"Had a great stay. Nice clean rooms. Enjoyed the small details like the heated towel racks, the pantry, the large oven, the multiple towels to cover for several days, the washer and dryer functionality with powder provided was helpful. View of the lake was nice (facing some cars which is ok) and relatively ok walking distance to the main shops."

"The best communication with our host Ray. Fast response to all our questions. The apartment felt like a home away from home. Comfortable pillows & beds. Shower water pressure & hot water was perfect after long days of hiking. Would happily stay here again."

"We stayed at this hotel just two years ago and thought it was so luxurious. I feel this time a little bit of that luxury was missing. Gone was the faux fur rug on the chair that you see in the images, there was no complimentary water (I don’t think I’ve stayed in any 5 star hotels that don’t provide complimentary bottles of water), and thirdly the room just felt tired. The hand basins were cracked and browning around the sink hole. The robes were pretty worn. The bed and pillow selection however...
