"Room was great. Clean, with a comfy king bed, big screen smart TV, and a big bathroom with a nice shower. The breakfast was fantastic. Only negative was that the whole building was very very warm without it being hot outside (15c outside in June). It had an air conditioner unit in the room that blew cold, but it was very loud. Needed it running constantly otherwise the room heated up very fast from the rest of the building. Bring ear plugs and you'll be fine."

"The room was comfortable and well located in the middle of the town, Golden. I didn’t realize the River View was on a public footpath/walkway, right off the main through road. It was difficult communicating with staff - there is no onsite staff and they didn’t answer the phones, but did respond to text messages after a delay. Parking was however easy and right around the corner from a tasty bakery."

"close to highway but still quiet in Building 2. Room was a bit in need of repair. No closet and the open clothes rack was falling off the wall. One of the two queen beds badly needs to have the mattress replaced Breakfast room is very small. Go early to get a table."

"The room we booked was not as advertised. The listing was for a king bed + sofa bed, however upon arrival we were informed there was no sofa bed and the room only had 1 king bed. Floor in the room was sticky."

"We found the room and facility to be reasonably clean but the furniture is well worn. It looks like they are trying to update the rooms. However, 1 pillow had stains on it when my wife happen to look in the pillow cover so she left them a note. One of the hand towels also had a large faint stain, almost as if coffee spilled and someone used it to wipe, but the stain never really came out. They should take those towels, cut them into squares and leave them in the room with a small sign to...

"Not the greatest location outside of town; have to drive to get anything. Also NOT a great place to stay in winter; all rooms open directly outside. Paper thin walls with loud guest = poor sleep."
