If you wanted confirmation of the state of this joint take a look at the attached pic of the front door .
You'd hope they are in the middle of refurbishments, but I fear there were little original "furbs" anyway. "Resort"! Really?! the ACCC would have a field day with that boast.
The carpet in the corridor, on my level at least, was new and fresh but the paint work lacked a professional finish.
Inside my unit, it was liveable but, well...meh. In particular, the minimal provision of crockery and cutlery was not properly cleaned, a small roach was caught between the glass and a picture in the living area ("not the little German ones!, they are impossible to kill", retorted a friend (she's right.....I have proof)), roach poo on a kitchen shelf and the old NOT-really-an-extra-large-double-bed-but-two-singles-put-together trick .
Having said that, I slept OK and just used the place to sleep and shower and have a coffee. The price on Expedia Mobile was good Location is good.
The front desk people were pleasant and efficient enough, parking is problematic though, with very limited space so I parked on the street out the front and that worked for me. It's non-metered 3P(between 9AM and 5PM) so you are safe from a ticket between 2pm and noon the next day.
