"Rooms are dated. Car park requires that you have to drag your suitcase through gravel. Staff except for the bar very dismissive. We ordered a take away mean from the bar to take back to our room as there is no room service. The restaurant didn't tell the bar it was ready for 30 minutes, subsequently the food was cold and dry. Nothing good to report other than the grounds are well maintained ant the views are spectacular. "

"A lovely, quiet and private location. The pod is compact and well appointed, with a lovely modern feel. Very well presented and some lovely welcoming touches. Communication was great from initial contact through to the welcome on arrival. Parking is up the road but only a couple of minutes walk. Highly recommended. "

"Disappointing Although refurbished to a good standard, the hotel has unfortunately kept a 1930s style lift, great to look at, but quite useless as a functioning lift. Particularly useless if you’re on the fourth floor as it only goes to three. It has a metal shutter style inner door that if left open when leaving, renders the lift inoperable. In a three day stay I had to find the lift on at least six occasions to close the door as my wife needed to use it. I would therefore, not recommend...

"The room had been upgraded however the walls were marked, hole in the wall, no hot water in the shower, carpet was stained. Breakfast was delicious, all staff were really welcoming, friendly. "

"We booked our 3-night non-refundable reservation through Expedia and the listing said that parking was included. When we received our welcome email from the property manager we learned that the free parking was only for stays of a week or longer. The parking lot is a 10-minute walk uphill from the flat, costs £11/day. The flat is cute although small, but very quiet with a comfortable bed and well equipped galley kitchen. "When booked it says take blanket&pillow case?no need bedding is included.. Shared bathroom clean&tidy. After 10.30 gets really loud with jukebox,on a main road..if you a light sleeper this is no good.but i enjoyed my stay it was for one night..breakfast was excellent! Cereals toast and a full English was excellent for my journey I would definitely stay again if was down that end..very impressive. "
