"This was nearly perfect for us. Waterfalls! Forest and The Big Lake! Packer v. Browns on TV! Fine kitchen with gas range and fancy fridge. Clean and cozy, Stairs a hazard for toddlers and elders? Too close to highway for dog safety? "

"Excellent and dog-friendly! The host was thoughtful and quick to answer questions, and the house was lovely! We found the listing fairly last-minute and booked for just a quick one-night trip, but we'd love to go back! Our new favorite!"

"Nice place with plenty of room. The kitchen was clean and even had an air fryer and blender. The queen bed was a bit soft for my taste but that is a preference not a requirement. The local bakery, Bread of Life, had wonderful pastries and pasties. Joe checked in with us a couple times just to be sure everything was great. And it was. We were near plenty of great places to hike and enjoy the area. If we come back to this part of the UP, we will be checking here again. "

"We visited my son a few miles away from the condo, so it was perfect! Went to lake superior and hung out had great food at local restaurants! We also visited some other sites on our way there and back, so we know our great granddaughters had a great time!!"

"Roomy older cabin. Very clean, beautiful views. Has everything you need. Very warm cabin in cooler temperatures. Would rent again. Only issue was with guest toilet with flushing...property manager said you have to push in and down. Beautiful fall colors, deers, bald eagle and loons. "

"Great stay at this cozy cabin in Mercer, WI! Beautiful lake location — peaceful, yet close to town. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our UTV trip. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We'd definitely come back!"

"Beautiful property! Was nicely tucked back in a secluded area with a beautiful yard. It had a nice firepit and chairs and even stocked with wood for fires. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were also convenient. The sauna looked interesting too we were just a little too busy to use it. Kitchen was stocked and convenient. We enjoyed the Norwegian spruce in the front yard also would recommend!"

"The pace was great! Relaxing and so close to the ski resort and to be honest better than the ski resort conditions as we stayed there two weeks to this stay! It was easy to relax after a long day of skiing and hop in the sauna for some added relaxation and recovery. Being able to make our own food was helpful as the grocery stores are not far at all so you can stick in while there! It was secluded but not too secluded :) would def stay again!"

"Very clean! Plenty of windows for great evening cross-breezes. The location was phenomenal - walking distance to Silver St. What more could you want?!Only disappointment was the bar below was closed all the days we were there - we were hoping to head down there in our PJs for a night-cap and then head back upstairs to bed! Because, come on.....how often could you say you did that?!?Thanks for sharing your penthouse! We'll be back!"
