"A massive thank you to Albert and his family for having us stay on their property this weekend. We were incredibly grateful for their extra efforts—fresh bread and homemade cakes to celebrate our anniversary were such a thoughtful touch. It was a joy to watch their daughter with her horses and to see the beautiful Highland cows. The tent was perfect upon arrival, and overall, we’d give Albert a 10/10 for his hospitality and care. Thank you again! We will be back!"

"From the moment we arrived we were impressed with this lovely cottage. Clear communication from the owners prior to arriving, all the attention to detail, special little touches, and extras such as complementary bottle of wine and fresh food for a complementary breakfast, as well as the location made our stay very special. We just loved the area, property and the cottage, as well as the little menagerie that reside on the property (pony, alpaca and friendly dogs)...it was very special. We are...

" A lovely cottage with so much style and history. Looks great in photos but even better in real life. It was so nice to stay in a freshly restored cottage but definitely not a cookie cutter decor. I also loved the town. I enjoyed a hot chocolate at Karkoo and great meal at the Oakbank hotel all within walking distance. Definitely recommend"
