AMAZING VIEW + UNEQUALED COMFORT = THE PERFECT RETREAT


  • This high comfort, contemporary house is ready to welcome you and let you relax and enjoy the view. The only thing between you and the Pacific Ocean is an easy less than five minute walk across the low dunes.

    Located in a quiet, gated community that's five miles from Seaside and 14 miles from both Cannon Beach and Astoria, there is nothing to keep you from maximizing the return on your "down time" - or giving you the quiet you need to write the next great American novel. If you need stores or supplies to replenish what you brought with you, Costco and Fred Meyer are in Warrenton - which is less than ten miles to the north. Astoria, Seaside and Cannon Beach all have a large selection of specialty stores - including bakeries and breweries - if there's something special you need.

    Inside you'll find a big screen TV with a huge selection of DVD's along with a computer and WI-Fi to keep you connected. Outside, behind the large and spacious deck (which will keep you out of the wind) you'll find the 8th tee of the Highlands Golf Course in the backyard and if you're lucky, you'll see the local herd of elk.

    The fully equipped kitchen features a gas cook top with a new oven and microwave. A huge island provides plenty of prep space with room for your quality checkers to hang out nearby.

    The living room has a two story high vaulted ceiling and a gas fireplace makes it easy to relax when it's cool or cloudy outside. The large comfy couches and chairs will make it hard for you to get going once you settle into them.

    The bedrooms all feature brand new, high end mattresses with "snug-as-a-bug" bedding. The laundry room is equipped with a commercial duty washer and dryer.

    The two car garage has a pair of bicycles so you can go peddling and it offers full shelter when you are coming and going.

    This is a true two story house with a half-floor of steps required to get to the living level. Entry and exit is not difficult but if you have trouble negotiating stairs please examine the pictures carefully.

The home is spacious and very comfortable. It was very clean upon arrival. The host communicated well and was very friendly. Great house with kids as there is a toy room, high chair and portable crib. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and set up for cooking in. Great location with easy access to the beach. The neighborhood is attractive and peaceful. Great beds! Highly recommend the home!

This was the 4th year our family has stayed at this beach house. It is a relaxing, comfortable house, and has all the amenities you could want in the spacious open kitchen. We found the house to have everything we needed. And I don't think the view can be any better. We looked forward to being on the front porch every evening.The neighborhood is great and it's an easy walk to the beach. The host is attentive and easily available with any questions.We look forward to returning again next year.

This was honestly the nicest vacation home we've ever stayed in. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt more like someone's home than a rental. My mom especially loved all of the décor and thoughtful touches throughout the house.The kitchen was one of the best-equipped we've ever seen. It had everything we needed to prepare meals, and nothing felt like it was missing. The home was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our group.We also appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was and the easy access to the beach. It made for a relaxing home base while exploring Cannon Beach, Astoria, and the northern Oregon coast.The check-in instructions were clear, and everything was exactly as described. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

This is a beautiful house, well-furnished, and perfect for gathering friends & family. We were grateful that it is pet-friendly and we could bring our 2 senior dogs. Everything was very clean, and the ease of access to the beach was exceptional! We enjoyed the outdoor seating, listening to the many types of birds -- and the living room was perfect for evening games and conversation. Would highly recommend this house!

This place is amazing! It’s big, gorgeous, comfy furniture, and has plenty of everything (linens, dishes, cookware, serving dishes, outdoor space)!!! Gorgeous ocean view with close beach access. Walkable to McMenamins for golf, food, or shenanigans. Right on the Highlands golf course. Just perfect in every single way. Excellent communication with host.
The view! We really enjoyed the telescope and the hunt about vessel finder!

Bonnie was a great host and this Gearhart property was fantastic - clean, quiet, roomy, comfy beds & furniture, well equipped, and with a fantastic view and nice trail or boardwalk to an awesome beach! Gearhart McMenamins and King Tides Bakery are short drives and more stores in Seaside (about 3 miles away).

The house had everything our family needed for a great extended stay. Comfortable beds, lots of room, including playroom for grand kids. The kitchen was very well equipped, a cooks kitchen. Lots of extra touches, great art work & decorations, games & puzzles. Located between Seaside & Warrenton/Astoria many options for restaurants & a Costco. Very quiet neighborhood. There are stairs to navigate access to the house. Short walk to the beach. Overall a perfect stay on the Coast.

This proprty is well appointed and beautiful inside and out. With sweeping ocean views and comfortable living spaces, it is a perfect location for a family vacation or holiday celebration. The kitchen is amply equipped for multiple cooks at the same time. We were able to prepare several dishes for our Thanksgiving celebration. Wonderful accommodations!

This is a very beautiful home in a gated community. Lots of room for all family members to have their own space. The front porch was the place to be to see the wonderful sunsets. Great location to multiple towns for excursions and food and a great place to return to wind down.
