"There is a lovely spa and gym. The hotel has interesting rooms. The food is Ok, not so great for vegetarian. Some of the staff not as gracious as at other Handpicked Hotels"

"Although the check out time was 12 and we put "Do not disturb"sign on the door, cleaners started cleaning our room while we went for a walk and removed our bag from the room. My husband was going to eat breakfast in the room after the walk but he was shocked as his bag was missing although he put the room service order through night before. There is no communication between the desk & cleaners and cleaners ignore the Do not disturb sign. "

"Arrived at the property at 12:30 AM. There was no one to let us in. We called Expedia help line but they were not able to contact the property. One day earlier, we were told that someone would be there. We were lucky to find another hotel that was open. Please refund my money."

"Four day stay was cancelled on arrival by hotel due to it being used for Government Quarantine Service, we were only allowed a new night stay and had to make our own alternative arrangements. Management were apologetic but didn’t resolve issue of us having no accommodation for 3 nights and no notice. Do not use this hotel Still awaiting refund 😡"

"The room looked as if it hadn’t been checked and cleaned in a while, dust and dirt everywhere, old food stains on the kitchen. The bathroom smelt like cigarettes, so I opened the windows which helped a little but still didn’t clear it. The pillows were pretty firm too so didn’t have a great sleep."

"The manor house and estate was spectacular. We were a little disappointed in that we booked to stay in this wonderful manor, but upon arrival we were told that our room was located in a small house on the property about 400yards from the manor house by the entrance gate. It was referred to at the "lodge" Reception staff were efficient, but not exactly friendly. The breakfast was exceptional."

"The staff was very helpful and even gave us options for a room and helped with our luggage. They even booked a tax to the airport for us. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. "
