"I am assuming because of Hurricane Helene, like the rest of Lake Lure area, this place flooded. Our problem was that there was a strong odor coming from the basement. They sprayed something into the air to cover it, but it was awful. We had to leave a day early because it was just too much. I hated to write this review because we love Lake Lure, but sadly it was hit hard and they are still in recovery, not just them but the whole area."

Front desk staff was very kind (we requested a late check-in and did so with no issues at all). It was another positive, consistent experience with Hampton Inn (we love staying with them because of their consistency)."
