"Simply fantastic stay. The host (Property manager I think) is very flexible to accomodate our last minute demands. Their welcome packet was really amazing with local beverages (thanks). The house is beautiful. Every room is clean and equipped with all essentials. I think they were recently renovated(better than the picture). "This is truly a gem of a place! We had 4 families stay, 17 ages 16-50 and a 1 year old. Plenty of beds, plus there were air mattresses if needed. Everything we needed for 1 year old, even toys outside. Can’t say enough about the outdoor area, where we spent all our time when at the house. Lots of place for all of us. We grilled and used fire pit with no problem. The outdoor tv was fun, watched a movie while playing cards at night. Pool was amazing, and way bigger than we thought. Absolutely no...

"We had a wonderful stay for our family reunion! The home was a great place to gather—plenty of space, and the rooms were fresh, clean, and inviting. The kids were so happy with the pool and hot tub! Shaymond was an outstanding host—very communicative and helpful. He even stopped by personally to assist with the backyard lights, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this property for families or groups looking for a comfortable and well-cared-for home base!"

"The house was lovely, clean and spacious. However, we do have a couple of recommendations... The dining table only had 4 chairs in a house that sleeps 10 (we had 8). Please provide more chairs at the large table. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable. Finally, the patio only had one chair, which was too dirty to sit on. You need more patio furniture so guests can sit outside in the morning with their coffee."

"My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at the Garden Cottage! We were there for 3 days while in Kansas City for business and it was the perfect place to unwind after many business meetings. The surrounding countryside is really peaceful and the gardens area is pretty. The pond is a nice place to sit too. All the appliances worked well, it was clean, and the owner was great at getting back to you quickly if you had a question. We had the farm fresh eggs and they were fantastic. If we come...

"Great Stay! Upstairs was hot and the AC didnt seem to get there but the kids slept in the livingroom anyways playing around the game table. "

"I didn't like that the thermostat was upstairs to the other part of the house. I had no control or access to it and it was really cold when we got there. "

"we had 14 at our reunion and had plenty of space. We had a couple of guys who preferred to stay at a hotel and there were a couple about 5 minutes away. We had a caterer for our meals and Lori was great in allowing them to come in a little early. The main floor kitchen had 2 dishwashers which was helpful. All in all, a great place. We would use it again"

"We had a lovely stay and were within walking distance of old town Overland Park and the farmers market. Great little shops and wonderful restaurants. Apartment was clean and owner took care of a few minor issues right away. Would stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house was really nice and clean. My teenagers loved that they each had their own little place they could hang out, very roomy. I liked the ease at which we booked the VRBO and it was the feeling of home. I would definitely stay again."

"The house was clean & well stocked & very quiet inside. The only large downfall was the a/c in the 3 bedrooms did not work well at all. The entire upstairs was very hot & muggy until the sun went down. Then the mainfloor bedroom was hot all night. The house will be perfect if the a/c is figured out. We had a mouse surprise us in the kitchen but that was not a huge ordeal. "

"We had family members coming to town and needed larger home to all be together. Home had large areas to gather together "

"Overall, my wife and family enjoyed their time here. Pros: great location, well-stocked kitchen, lots of spaceCons: there is an ant problem in the kitchen, place hasn't been dusted in awhile, and assorted small things are broken (smoke detector, towel rack etc.)All in all, they had a good time. The place needs a good cleaning and a visit from Orkin and it would be perfect."

"I needed an Airb&b close to the working dog competion that we were participating in. It is a great venue with plenty of room to walk and exercise my dog. I loved the horses, chickens, ducks and especially the fresh eggs. Great service as well."
