"The manager on site (Mike) was extremely friendly and helpful. We had the corner suite with the balcony overlooking the port, and almost wanted to stay out their the entire time, but were very glad we ventured out and took Mike's recommendations for dinner and daily walks. "The hotel was perfect for our 4 night stays at Aegina. The room was perfect with a Sea view. The staff was super friendly and professional. The pool and the area around the hotel was great and we had access to the sea from the hotel. The little town of Agia Marina is walkable from the hotel, si easy access to restaurants and beach. Would definitely recommend."

"The hotel is unique and individually decorated and furnished. We had a large terrace with loungers, tables and chairs. The owners and staff were really friendly and helpful. The cobbled street is steep to the hotel and could be slippery particularly when wet. Numerous bars and restaurants a few minutes walk down the hill to the harbour. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay"

"Struttura molto confortevole, pulita, accogliente e piacevole, e’ leggermente fuori dal centro di Skala e quindi molto tranquillo, si vede il mare dal balcone della camera. La spiaggia appena fuori è molto piccola e di sassi, gli ombrelloni e sdrai non sono compresi nel prezzo, li danno solo se si mangia nel loro ristorante. La spiaggia di sabbia di Skala è a cinque minuti a piedi ed è molto spaziosa, ombrellone e sdrai per euro 15. Nel complesso direi ottima struttura"

"The hotel itself is beautiful, very well managed and the staff are fantastic. Our suite was lovely, with a private pool and direct beach access. The restaurant is really special. Food, service and ambiance is of an incredibly high standard. Couldn’t recommend a stay here enough. From start to finish, our experience at this hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. "

"It was a beautifully restored mansion. We were in the basement but there was plenty of sunlight streaming in from windows. Bedroom was in upstairs loft so stairs to navigate . Bathroom downstairs. Everything updated and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, from granola with fruit to eggs and small spinach pies. Tasty orange cake to top it off! Lovely place with garden and resident tortoise and areas to sit outside with a glass of wine. Highly recommend and use the donkeys to carry luggage!"

"Fantastic Costos was super host and let us know all that we needed to know both accomodation and Hydra, + history. our room the patio was very small, no pics when I ordered far too small for a weeks stay, the shower was minimal and the water went over the whole floor so we had to mop up with towels. Costos upgrade our room to 2nd floor much better, but only for four nights free of charge, then we would have to go back to the patio. that was not happening so we ordered and payed for another...

"God what a place, best island in Greece!! Hotel was pleasant & value for the money! By now I’m used to the showers in Greece flooding the whole bathroom - it’s just the way it is. At least it’s hot water with good pressure. Beds were incredibly comfortable, AC worked ok. Partial sea view was just a lovely start to the morning. "

"Ein sehr nettes 2* Hotel mit freundlichen Menschen. Supersauber. Leider habe ich kaum geschlafen, weil für mich die Matratzen viel zu hart war... Der Strand auf den Bildern ist direkt vor dem Hotel, allerdings ist es ein öffentlicher Strand, an dem man die Liegen/Schirme bezahlen muss und Konsumationszwang hat - und man muss früh da sein, weil sonst alle Liegen belegt sind. Grundsätzlich aber gut, sehr sauberes Wasser."
