The apartment is located in a high and quiet area of ​​Funchal, in a gated community 10 minutes' walk from the city center. This area has good access to the highway and city, with buses all the time, even at the condo door. It has a fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, laundry room, a spacious bedroom, a bathroom, a living room and dining room (with sofa bed) with a magnificent view of Funchal and the sea. In the New Year you can watch the fireworks from the windows and the building common terrace with a privileged view of the entire bay of Funchal. It has parking for one car and communal outdoor garden. Across the street there is a gym open 24 hours a day. Its good location provides easy access to various areas of the island and its attractions. The airport is 20 minutes, the shopping malls to 5 minutes, hypermarket and traditional Madeiran market 2 min. car, the Botanical Garden, the Berardo Foundation, the Haystack Golf 10 minutes, the beach / pools 5 minutes, the center of town 3 minutes. In Funchal, the weather is mild all year.

Der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt einem viele Hinweise per WhatsApp. Man muss aber immer die Preise vergleichen. Anfahrt vom Flughafen per Taxi bspw. pauschal ca. 25, nicht 33!

Nice apartment with a great view

My partner and I spent 10 nights here and really enjoyed it. The apartment is located in rather quiet part of Funchal which we really liked. The parking garage was really practical. The apartment itself was clean and everything we needed was there. Our host Bruno was super nice

Super accueil de Bruno qui a éte au petit soin pour nous. L appartement est situé proche du centre dans les hauteurs, au calme avec vue sur la mer. Pour plus de confort il faut louer une voiture. Cela petmet de sillonner cette ile magnifique.

The flat was very clean and comfortable and a great base for exploring Funchal and around. 20 min stroll downhill to the city centre, plenty of buses back up the hill.

Excelente estadia!

Visitamos a Madeira pela primeira vez e não podia ter corrido melhor. O alojamento está super bem localizado, com uma vista fantástica, e o Sr. Bruno é um excelente host - a comunicação foi sempre fácil, o check-in e o check-out também. O apartamento serve perfeitamente para 4 pessoas e tem tudo o que necessita (desde máquina de lavar a secador), o sofá cama também é bastante confortável e dormem facilmente 2 pessoas lá. O facto de ter estacionamento em garagem também é uma vantagem. Recomendo a 100%.

Lovely Island

First time I have been to Madeira and it is delightful. Weather was a bit mixed at first but then sunny and warm with no rain.The apartment is nice with a beautiful view, the only downside for us elderly folk was the hills in Funchal and the rest of the island.. I would recommend the apartment

Geweldig verblijf

Onze gastheer liet uitgebreid ons appartement zien en wat een mooie plek en een fantastisch uitzicht. Mooi balkon om te gebruiken een verdieping lager. De huurauto kon op een eigen garage plek staan. Er lagen infoboekjes in huis en de inrichting was heel compleet. We zouden dit zeker aanraden en zelf hier ook met plezier nog een keer verblijven.

Relaxing location with great view

Bruno was a great host, accommodating our very late arrival. The apartment has a great view, and the area is quiet and safe. It’s about a 25 min walk to the downtown. The kitchen is set up for basic cooking. The parking is secure - however it can be very tricky to get into the parking spot if you have a larger vehicle when others are parked there. Overall we’d recommend this place.

Beautiful view in quiet location

Bruno is an excellent host. He met us at the property and gave a very thorough description of all the amenities and features of the apartment. The property is very clean. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood. There is good bus service and the stop is literally next door. Bruno is very knowledgeable about local attractions and very quick to respond to any requests for information. There is onsite parking, if you rent a car, but don't rent a large car. The view is fabulous.

Exactly as described. Located above the city with good views. Apartment was clean and pleasant. Perfect first stop on our adventure around the island. Friendly accommodating hosts Fatima and Bruno, who greeted us when we arrived. Thank you for the extra welcoming gifts as we were celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary. Madeira is Wonderful

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Bruno was very helpful and exceeded expectations when he mailed a package of forgotten items back to me. Thank you so much. I think the apartment is best suited for people who are fit and can walk easily as it is uphill. There is, however, a bus stop at the front of the house, but there can be gaps. Thanks for the experience.

Slechte service.

Het appartement op zich was basic maar in orde. De gerant Bruno was bij aankomst heel enthousiast en behulpzaam om alle restaurants en bezienswaardigheden in de buurt door te geven en zei dat we hem op elk moment mochten contacteren voor wat dan ook. Echter toen we hem 's morgens op dag twee lieten weten dat de afloop van de douche ernstig verstopt zat hebben we van hem gedurende de hele vakantieperiode niks meer gehoord. Dus dat is wel een heel negatief puntje.
