"We had a such a wonderful time at the Appleton property. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. The home was very large, well decorated and made us feel at home. It was so nice to not live out of suitcase. It had all to conveniences of home, dishwasher, washer, dryer, large kitchen and two bathrooms. A very large family room, formal dining room and formal living room. The four bedrooms were very comfortable. We look forward to renting this property again when we are in the Appleton area. "

"Very quiet and very comfortable place to sleep! We enjoyed our wedding dress shopping trip to Appleton staying in this older remodeled home. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked! It was very close to downtown. "

"This lake front home is gorgeous. They have manage to keep the beautiful hardwood floors, wood trim and detailed wood built-in cabinets throughout the house. Weather was perfect for sitting on screen porch and looking at the lake. Lot of beds so everyone could have their own. "

"The house is decorated with very cool brewery memorabilia and clean. The host was easy to communicate with and left us a very cool welcome basket. We will book again next year. "

"We really enjoyed our off-season stay at this property. Plenty of room for our party of 4ad,2ch and dogs. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of room to spread out. We only wish we could take advantage of the beautiful yard/water view! Too snowy in Feb though. The dogs enjoyed the yard for sure."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Doe House! Our family along with some soon to be in laws stayed at the house and it was the prefect setting for a beautiful wedding weekend. The bridal party even got ready at the house and couldn't stop talking about how impressive the house was. We loved the history of the how well taken care of it is. Becky was a fantastic host and her attention to detail and small touches did not go unnoticed. "

"We were in town for a family wedding. The house is within walking distance of many restaurants and rhe downtown area which waa perfect for our group. The house worked out great for 6 adults and 3 children. Very comfortable, cute and well stocked with all the essentials. Very attentive hosts, easy to reach, great communication!"
